Our dog came home from here frantic and scared. She had been bitten (but no one told us, we just saw the marks), she was DESPERATE to go to the bathroom. The staff just lock the dogs up and don't interact with them at all. After a few weeks, the staff still didn't know her name and I honestly think they would have given her to anyone who came to pick her up.
A good doggy daycare will give your dog its lunch (this one won't) and won't take off their collar. When they take off the collar its because so many get chewed off by the other dogs. Now, that's not a nice way to play is it?Comment from Barrie B. of The Doghouse 9/23/2010

History
Established in 1996
The Doghouse, along with Rex Dog Hotel + Spa is a family owned and operated facility. We have been in the dog care business since 1996. Our first facility, The Doghouse at Granville Island, was one of Vancouver's first dog daycares. We opened our second daycare facility on Manitoba Street at West 8th Avenue in 1998. We have built an excellent reputation with our daycares, offering a high level of care in a safe and fun environment.
