We don't get here much, because they don't carry our preferred type of food, but B&F is a small, well organized shop that offers a well-chosen selection of higher-quality accessories. They also sell their well made dog biscuits in bulk.
The staff is very helpful and friendly, and offer no pressure. -

They recently changed the name from Bark & Ftiz to the Dog Market. The service is still great! They carry a selection of dog snacks that are difficult to find elsewhere. My pups love the salmon sticks. Shop here, your pups will love it. Street parking is $2 per hour, which is pretty good. My stops here are usually less than 15 minutes!

When we moved into the area, we thought this was going to be an over-priced boutique store that we wouldn't use much - even though they are practically across the street form where we live so carrying heavy bags of dog food would be much easier to get home with. The fact is that we found the food is very competitively priced! Sure they have more "gourmet" things as well (and we indulge our dogs in them every so often) but all in all it's a great place to shop. Some of the more expensive leashes, toys, outfits and fun stuff may be out of our budget on the whole, but they are shopping there makes us want to save up for the fun (if frivolous) stuff too.
Like other stores, they offered us a frequent buyer type deal where if we bought 10 bags of food, we got one free. A nice bonus. Unlike other stores, the staff have made a point of being very friendly, yet never pushy, and very personable. We are in maybe once every three weeks or so, but they remember our name (and have our frequent buyer info up and waiting by the time we check out).
One of our dogs has a severe poultry allergy so our choices are limited. They have gone so far as to add an extra couple of bags of the brand and flavour of dog food that we buy to make sure it's always in stock when we need it. They have welcomed our dogs into the store and made a point of befriending them and us.
Fun store, fun products and EXCELLENT customer service. Wohoo! -

Bark & Fitz is another cute little Pet store in the Queen East area. They are actually a chain, but you couldn't tell from their high quality products and friendly service.
If you're looking for some sort of specialty treat, like wheat free or gluten free, Bark & Fitz has a really good selection. They also have a lot of pet giftwares, so if you're looking for a present for a dog lover, you can get some really good ideas here as well.
I don't know what else to say about Bark & Fitz, they are just a really great store! -

A little pretentious for me. Afterall I'm buying a dog dish and treats not Prada's.
The girls that work there are pretty good though.
