I'm a sucker for their animators' collection princess dolls. Finally went in to pick up two of them because I was emailed a coupon. (make sure to sign up as they apparently have two coupon sales per year) Anyhoo forgot to print it out and ask the staff about it. She scrimmaged around and found the last coupon left in the store. Totally went above and beyond.
She also scrimmaged in the back searching for the doll I wanted.
Now I'm waiting for another sales date to pick up some more dolls.
4 stars...because they are still a bit pricey with or without a sale.
10-15 for a mug
27 for a doll -

I give the look of the store 5 stars but because everything is way more than it should be it deserves a 2. Im a huge Disneypark/Disney fan and actually spend a lot of money on Merch, but Canada is disqusting how much more they charge for the same product!!! I always shop at the Alderwood mall location in Washington because i dont shop in Canada for almost anything. It is really bad when Disneyland and WDW who are known for being expensive offer much lower prices.
The day prices in Canada drop is the day i will give a lot of my business back. -

So I'm a huge Disney fan, I LOVE the new look.. the feel as soon as you walk in, is like being in the park. They even added aromas,( it reminds me of the ride Soarin') Sure it's full of overpriced kiddy toys but here and there though you will sometimes find the big kid items that rarely are found north of the border. I really wish they'd add in a D23 section or a dedicated big kid section at least and stock it with the new fun items that are spotted on their websites. It's a fun place to pass time or pick up trinkets for little ones if you don't mind spending a bit extra for authentic Disney merchandise in canada.

You'll like this story...
So, less than a month ago I wanted to buy a present for a little girl at the Disney store, so where did I look. Yelp, of course! I seen that there was a Disney store at Metropolis at Metrotown and after dialing the number listed, it was disconnected. I then call Metropoilis to ask them about it, and they informed me that it had closed many years ago... So, I was pretty bummed and was forced to look elsewhere to find a so-so gift for the little one...
On a random day, I decided to stop in to Metropolis... While I was walking in the mall, I stumbled upon a shocking discovery! DISNEY STORE! Alive and operating! Ugh!!! I could not believe it...
As always, the magical atmosphere of the Disney Story shook the irritation off of me and I proceeded to enter the store..
It was Huge or as my little guy would say "Hugemongous" It is the perfect place for you to bring the kids if you are in the mall. They have so much for the kids to do. They even offer a little place for them to draw, hang out and watch a movie.
Of course shopping here isn't all that inexpensive because it is direct, but certain items are totally worth th
I love it here, and I am happy to know it exists... Next time, I know where I am going... -

Kids love this place, and I do too.
Where else can you get Nightmare before Xmas?
Kids had a blast with the do it yourself remote control car station.
We would have bought some stuff but sadly the stock was lacking any size bigger than a XS-S in the ladies shirts I wanted.
Cute store, overpriced, but if you watch for the sales and they actually have your size in stock, a pretty good time.
