The Discovery Shop is located just inside the main entrance for the Discovery Centre. Packed with all sorts of sciency kits and amazements for kids of all ages, it's a great place to hit up when you're looking for a unique Christmas or birthday present.
There are all sorts of kits available, from models of the solar system to make-your-own volcano. Also in store are rock polishers, fossil hunting tools, bugs of all shapes and sizes and many glow-in-the-dark constellation kits.
My kids love to browse in the Discovery Shop, even at their relatively advanced ages. It's rare that we head home without having made a purchase and it's one of the first places I turn to when they're invited to a birthday party.
