In NB, weather really has a big impact on one's travel experiences, so let me first say that my experience of The Dip was on a stunning 22-degree (C) sunny evening...
The Dip is classy, and has by far the best, and coolest atmosphere for a fun night out in Fredericton. Directly on the water, good menu, friendly staff and great location with lots of free parking in the new Delta hotel. Wine list is small but good, and because it is reasonably new the service is a little patchy, but I get the sense they are quickly working things out!. Definitely a must-do for citified visitors to Fredericton. Dress up or down, you will feel comfortable.
