The Cat's Glass is a really unique store, and easily separates itself from all the other gift shops on Whyte. They specialize in handcrafted glass home decor which they create themselves in the workshop at the back of the store.
Everything is truly a work of art here and deserves to be admired at every angle -- and yes, it's all pure glass, so tread through the shop slowly and carefully (hey, if I made it through okay, so can you)! My favorites were the martini glasses and flutes, with beautiful streaks of colored glass. This is a great place to check out if you're looking for a unique gift. It's a bit pricey, but then again, all their stuff is handmade.
The Cat's Glass is more than a gift shop however, because they specialize in customized windows as well. Glass is their thing here, so if it's glass you want, this is where you need to be.Listed in: A Walk Thru Whyte
