I catered for my company's Christmas dinner party and WOW!! I was so impressed with Butler. For a really reasonable price, we had more than enough food to feed 30 people!!

Not to mention their beautiful set up and decoration to add to the holiday atmosphere. Staff communicated very well leaving clear instructions on how and where to leave the stuff once we're done for the night, etc. Will def use them again in future events!!

I have never had their catering, but my husband & I have gone here a few time for lunch. Always a decent, filling lunch. Nothing INCREDIBLE.. but decent, and worth going back to once or twice a month.

Their sausage roll was particular yummy.. as is their tuna sandwich.

This place is sandwiched nicely between ok and meh...  I guess.  You know that place you eat because it's there, and so are you.  Yeah, that's the Butler Did It for me.  It's an ok lunch assortment of sandwiches, soups, pastas, cookies and daily dishes.  If you're there and you're hungry, why not?  But it's not your destination restaurant kinda place.

OMG just had their Greek lunch and am soooo stuffed and happy! I am ready for my food coma!

At the office I am the lucky one that gets to pick the food for the in office lunches and breakfasts so I decided to give the Butler a try. I had ordered a hot breakfast the week before but because it was for clients I didn't get to partake in it but the reviews were great, so when it came time for me to order lunch for this weeks meetings I wanted to try their fare for myself. I am so happy I did!

The Great Greek Lunch came with spinach salad, Greek salad, chicken or beef skewers (I picked chicken because some people in our office do not eat red meat), rice pilaf, mini spanokapitas, whole wheat and regular pita with tzatziki and a desert platter to die for. All this for about $20 a person. Not too bad when you think about it because I could keep going back for more as there's so much of it.

Now the service I have received both times was incredible. The first time they delivered on time and were back to pick everything up when they said they would. There was an additional charge but it was minimal. This time they don't need to pick up until tomorrow so there is no additional charge for that. The gentleman that delivered today was on time and set up everything nicely for us. I even went back to offer help and he wasn't taking any of it, in a good way. Of course, service doesn't start and end with the delivery person. It starts with the call to the caterer and they ladies there (as I haven't dealt with any of the men, if there are any) have been spectacular.

In the words of Arnie "I'll be back".

I have used The Butler Did It a couple of times for corporate catering, with so-so results.  Their cheese and fruit platter are very good and well presented, so one day I ordered some mini breakfast snacks for visiting clients, hoping it would be nicer than the array of food I grabbed from the grocery store and threw together along with my severe lack of hostess skills.  Mistake!!  Muffins and danishes from Tim Hortons would have been a vast improvement from what the Butler Did It brought, which was a small amount of greasy little pastries laying flat in a sad little basket.  Even the little muffins were greasy.

I ended up running down the street to pick up something better.  I will avoid using them again for anything involving pastries.  (Maybe their other food is better. )

I was looking for a caterer for my wife's 50th birthday party. After doing some research over the internet I chose "The Butler Did It Catering Company", based on their very flexible menu, service and pricing options. The event coordinator there was excellent: she was pleasant, responded to my emails promptly and didn't try to hard-sell any of their many services. We opted for a food delivery only option (the "White Glove Buffet" menu), and on the day of the party, the delivery person was punctual, and very professional. The food was tasty and plentiful. The baron of beef, chicken piccata and Thai noodle salad were particularly good. I will definitely use this company again.

My new favorite spot for lunch on Granville Island! This remote location I am talking about is nestled in the Emily Carr cafeteria. Today was the third time in a row I grabbed lunch here! Day 1 I got an asiago wrap and carrot ginger soup. The asiago wrap is loaded with vegies, cukes, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, sprouts and a tasty parmesan sauce all wrapped in a soft pesto tortilla. Day 2 I got the chicken caesar wrap with cream of celery soup and today I got the asiago wrap again with the german sausage soup. The soup was insanely good, sort of a tomato and onion beef broth soup with tender bits of german sausage, yumm! I could have slurped down another cup if I wasn't so full.
These people use fresh and quality ingredients and make everything to order in record time. Usually I hit the gym on my hour lunch break and need to grab a quick and healthy lunch to bring back to my office and the Butler Did It Catering is the best!
They have specials every day, usually 2 soups to choose from, salads, lasagna, shepards pie etc.
