Excellent neighborhood hangout, and in a good location with desirable patrons to boot. Always good daily specials and a changing beer selection. Support your local business owner and drop in for dinner or a pint.

Burgers here are some of the best in the city. The calamari appetizer is not too greasy and a nice way to start a meal. The blackened beef of the Black & Blue burger was a little dry but the Wild Boar Burger was delicious. Nice atmosphere, parking is always hit or miss but residential streets nearby have ample space.

Came to The Bungalow on a very busy Friday night, We came in and were told it was about a 25 minute wait, we were seated in about 10-15 minutes tops. Once seated our drink orders were taken almost right away, the waitress gave us a couple minutes to look over the menu, and we both choose the build your own burger of course! The choices were pretty amazing, They have different meat choices including Wild Boar, Lamb, Buffalo, Turkey, Tuna, and the usual beef, also a portobello option for the vegetarians. Lots of different cheese choices, 3 different types of buns, and about 40 toppings to choose from including caramelized onions, smoked chorizo, double-smoked bacon, pepperoni, sautéed mushrooms, sliced dill pickle, roasted garlic, and the list goes on.

The food came out pretty fast after ordering which I was pretty surprised about, seeing as how busy it was that night. I chose to go with the buffalo burger this time and it was amazing, big portion and grilled to perfection, the unlimited toppings are a great add-on and I went with as much as I could, building an enormous burger. I went with a side of sweet potato fries this time which also tasted great and a really good compliment to the burger, but next time I really wanna try the homemade mac n cheese, and the deep fried pickles! Lots of different selection of local beers on tap and bottled as well, although the bar area is kinda small, so if you can find a seat on a friday/saturday night all power to you.

Small, intimate setting with great service and probably the best burgers in the city! Although the parking lot is absolutely tiny and the parking around on the street is a little iffy. The portions are great, and the prices are just right, definitely not overpriced whatsoever. I can't wait to return and build some more amazingly good burgers! Oh and the fish and chips looked amazing as well! I will be back, although I will call ahead if going on a Friday night again.

This place has been on my "must try" list for a bit and a few weeks ago, I finally went. It was Monday early dinner hour so we didn't have to worry about parking or crowds or waiting, but I could definitely see issues there as by the time we left it was hopping.

We started with the deep fried pickles and I really liked the flavour but the amount of grease on the bottom of the basket (AND what leaked onto the table..ew) was enough to turn my tummy a bit.  I chose the build your own burger (buffalo with my usual toppings) while my companions ordered right off the menu (turkey and portobello). We were all highly satisfied with the burgers but our sides were definitely lacking. My potato salad was just...gross, fries were really greasy and the caesar salad had no bite.

Service was good. Atmosphere is definitely pub-like and could get very loud very quickly.  Probably a large student hang out since it's in that area, but a few old timers saddled up to the bar while we were there. Worth checking out for the burgers, chose wisely for your side.

We live nearby and would like to visit this place often. However the food is mediocre at best. The good selection of burgers looks good in the menu but on the plate they're small, there's almost no condiments at all and the sides are disappointing too. Not quite worth the money.
