Located in Oakridge Centre by the Hudson Bay Company's mall entrance, The Book Company is the sole bookstore in the facility. It is just over 1500 square feet and carries a modest selection of books. It's a good place for those seeking solace from the throngs of shoppers, especially with its newspaper and magazine section conveniently placed at the front (unfortunately within the watchful gaze of whoever's on cash). However, the range of best sellers outnumbers the contemporary classics. Actually, the range of calendars outnumbers the number of contemporary classics as well. Hmm.. the same might be true for their stock of stuffed animals, too.
