nice atmosphere, very relaxing and zen
food is amazing. Very beautiful fresh cooked ingredients. hands down the best eggplant dish i've ever had.  the indian dishes are authentic indian spices and flavour, even the rice and bread are amazing.

I have trouble even believing that Shaun ate at the Bombay Grill. I have been going for years (ever since it was called the Bombay Chat) and have NEVER had a bad experience. It is the best Indian in Burlington. The restaurant is comfortable, the staff are friendly and take the time to get to know you, the food is amazing, what more can you ask for?

They have cheap, fairly quick set lunches of mixed curries. For dinner, they have a fairly broad menu. For people like Shaun C who like their curry hot, just ask, they will make it hot, medium or mild for you.

Their full menu is available for takeout and you save a bit, making it a very reasonable meal. Call ahead, they usually need about 20 to 30 minutes to prepare your order.

Discovered this place a couple io weeks ago and have been back several times since.  Seriously good food, and affordable.  Lunch special was 8.99 and left me happy-full.  Service was fast and polite, and the naan bread was stupidly good.

I'm writing this as a defense of the fine food at the Bombay Grill.I think it is possible that Shaun C. ate somewhere else and not being sure where is smearing the fine name of the Bombay Grill.

Let me start out by saying I was introduced to the Bombay Grill by two people who really know curry, both of whom swear that the curries are just like their mother or mother-in-law's. In a good way people.

The menue includes 82 different options, not counting the express combos which make for excellent full lunches (at $6.50 for vegetarian and $7.50 for non-vegetarian). Dishes are flavourful and saucey. The nan is large and tasty.

I recommend this place for take-out. Check them out on-line, http://www.thebombaygr..., call ahead and place your order 905.681.1227 and have one of the better meals Burlington has to offer. Seriously, Burlington is a bit of a wasteland of bad food - this place is an island of good things not to be missed.

Pleasant service, quaint atmosphere, good prices, great menu. Biggest issue was the curry was so weak it might has well been Irish pub curry BLAH! and I guess waiter guy must have assumed i had never had Indian food before,, wrong.

I found Nan and Roti excellent, the samosas dry, rice was not the sweet pungent basmati smell I liked, the meat dishes small, the sauces good though the Butter chicken sauces was a little too; tomato zesty and not enough; burn holes through me spicy.

Aloo Gobi was cut with too large pieces of cauliflower. I was on end of 4 hour trip home from Muskoka and could have eaten a dry 2by4 I was so hungry. If I hadn't been that hungry I would have left. Overall i though I had found a new Indian place to stop at, but overall despite alot of people coming in place doing take out it was a 2 star experience.

Some of the best indian food I've ever had.  Really good, and a lot of food.  I ate too much.  I had aloo gobi, naan, veggie samosas, rice and a couple cheetah beers.  My husband had the chicken tikka masala.  We were both stoked.  I am always a bit scared of going to new indian places, it's always kind of hit-or-miss, but i think we scored the jackpot on this one.
