Great spot for all coffee lovers. Relaxed and spacious interior with the option to sit outside to enjoy the day! Recommend the Cortado!

Would have rated 5-star, but the cash-only policy was a surprise. Lucky I had a $5 on me!

Yay, this place opened today. The owners, Kirk and Tracy, were friendly and welcoming and seemed pretty calm for the first day, 90 minutes after opening.

I had a cortado which was very good, and ON THE MENU. I didn't have to explain it! That's a good sign. They get their beans from Te Aro, so that adds some credibility.

The space is very nice, if not a bit sparse at this point. I believe they are going to use their walls to display local artists. Cool retro lighting and a wooden communal table highlight the digs.

I only got a quick look at the pastries, but didn't have a chance to ask about them. Anyway, it's only day one...as they settle in a bit, I'll probably post an update. I anticipate being a regular, as it's a 10-minute walk from home.

This place is a joke horrible coffee and service. I placed an order waited five minutes and then she tells me it's cash only not a single sign in the entire building inside or outside then tells me there's an ATM down the block I can go to no thanks. Is it that hard to put a sign up to let customers know?

I've been going to Bandit Coffee for awhile.. it was a pretty fair to middling experience. I only really kept going there because it's so close to my house.
Today I went in and realized that I didn't have any cash on me.. The barrista could tell i was in a hurry (like most mornings) and she offered to take my info down so I could pay next time I'm in (which is basically every day lately).

I really appreciated her offer.. it made my morning and completely changed my perspective on this coffee shop.

Great coffee and great customer service! A friendly barista is a bit of an anomaly in this city, but today I found one!

Just discovered this place and will be going back very soon. It's a little coffee shop with a punk rock vibe off the beaten path. Just a few steps away from the Beaches you have great independant coffee for those anti-Starbucks java lovers.

The coffee is good and they have cinnamon, lemon and vanilla infused sugar. Yummy!

I can't wait to go for music on Monday nights and try more snacks.
