Just discovered this place and will be going back very soon. It's a little coffee shop with a punk rock vibe off the beaten path. Just a few steps away from the Beaches you have great independant coffee for those anti-Starbucks java lovers.

The coffee is good and they have cinnamon, lemon and vanilla infused sugar. Yummy!

I can't wait to go for music on Monday nights and try more snacks.

Love this place, you could probably find me there on any given day! The espresso is amazing, the baristas take a lot of care dialing in the grind , its as good in the evening as it is in the morning! With the nice weather they put some chairs out side which is nice and they have also extended the hours until 9pm which is awesome, I'm a big evening coffee fan and hate how everywhere closes at 6pm in the area,or the whole city. Friendly, small staff, its a get to know you type place which is good cause when you walk in you don't need to worry if its a rookie making your coffee, very dependable and consistent which is a big failing I have found at other joints.
Baked goods are yummy and the music is pretty much baristas choice, which I like, I'm sick of standard indie bands or classical music trying to set some silly tone for a place, they provide a great atmosphere good for working, hanging out, or just killing some time.

Yay, this place opened today.  The owners, Kirk and Tracy, were friendly and welcoming and seemed pretty calm for the first day, 90 minutes after opening.

I had a cortado which was very good, and ON THE MENU. I didn't have to explain it! That's a good sign. They get their beans from Te Aro, so that adds some credibility.

The space is very nice, if not a bit sparse at this point. I believe they are going to use their walls to display local artists. Cool retro lighting and a wooden communal table highlight the digs.

I only got a quick look at the pastries, but didn't have a chance to ask about them. Anyway, it's only day one...as they settle in a bit, I'll probably post an update.  I anticipate being a regular, as it's a 10-minute walk from home.

Good coffee, good vibe and free wi-fi. Will probably end up doing some work from this joint!
