The Bagel Stop used to be kitty corner to where it is now. It seems to be in a better spot now, but the traffic seems way down and I worry for them. It's a good spot. The staff is friendly and the bagels and other foods are well priced and prepared nicely. They even have their own seating within the food court, which is a nice plus, as it can be a battle to find a spot even in this awful food court.

I went to try this place on my way to work this morning. The staff seemed friendly and were quick to get my order together. That was until they couldn't process my debit card.

I'm sorry, but don't blame me for my debit card not working when you have the oldest debit machine known to man. Maybe you should clean your machine once in a while. My card worked fine 2 minutes later when I went to Tim Horton's. And don't get annoyed that I don't have cash or another debit card to pay with.

Well, I just finished a "Veggie" Bagel with light garden vegetable cream cheese from Bagel Stop, and as the tomato-alfalfa sprout-cucumber clump affixed itself to cream cheese glob and slid off of the lettuce onto the desk in front of me, I remembered that there is a place in my work 'hood, often visited and never reviewed.

While Tim Horton's 12 grain bagels, taste better, are much cheaper and don't force me to jaywalk across Bloor st, Sometimes you just want a tomato and some lettuce (vitamins!). And if you are willing to pay an extra $3 or so for that pleasure, you can head to Bagel Stop. Deep in the cavernous food court that links the Bay and Goodlife to the Y&B station, Bagel Stop serves a wide variety of bagels (3 low carb high fibre options! ), soups and random beverages.

You can top your bagel with cream cheese, cheese, tuna, egg salad, bacon,  tomato, lettuce, sprouts, cucumbers, green pepper etc. Breakfast Sandwiches available.

Bonus points - at least a dozen varieties of cream cheese, lots of interesting flavors.
Minus Points - only two of them are "light", kinda pricey, no "multigrain" (what gives!)

Bagel toasted with light cream cheese some tomato and lettuce comes to a disappointing $5.07 with tax.
