So i ordered from Thailicious a few days ago after having a massive craving for thai food, I ordered thru http://Justeats.ca and was able to take advantage of their 20% your order coupon, I ordered Greeny Curry with Chicken mild( im a wimp) and regualry rice with spring rolls.Order came in the 45mn time slot, when i opened the bag i saw the smallest takeout container of rice, however this is one of those magical containers where tons of rice ends up pouring out, I was a little surprised with the size of the curry but with how rich and delicious this is i was stuffed! It not a portion to share for sure, but is more than enough to eat alone,( took me 2hrs to eat the whole portion) Spring rolls were crispy and blazing hot, and the order of 4 is very filling, ended having 3 to take to work the next day, overall this was a delicious meal, prompt service and good value, all three things including delivery was $19 !
will order from them again ! -

I discovered Thailicious on http://JustEat.ca while trying to decide what to order in for Valentine's Day (because I'm classy that way), I almost always order from Mali Thai, but wanted to try something different.
It took about an hour for my food to arrive, which kind of bugged me seeing as they have a delivery charge in place as well. If I'm going to pay, I'd hope it'd be faster than that! However, the driver was really nice and sweet and when she realized that there was egg in my Pad thai, which I specified I didn't want, she was very apologetic and put my address in their system to give me a free credit! I'll gladly pick around eggs in order to get a free dish in the future. Next time I'm craving curry, mmmm...
The food was good. The vegetarian spring rolls are big and fat and crispy and full of many tasty wonders, and they come with a special spicy dip. Yummm!
The pad thai was full of eggs so I didn't really have a great experience, but that is just personal preference so I can't really judge.
All in all, A-OK! -

So, we had a bit of a rough start with Thailicious (can you tell which review is my husband's?), but redemption deserves acknowledgement.
After multiple mix-ups both through their online order system and over the phone, we finally received our order - a day late, but free! We ordered the papaya salad, fried tofu, pad thai and the massaman curry. Admittedly, the food wasn't very warm, but it was incredibly tasty. The pad thai was the standout dish for me - no ketchup-y taste or colour at all, and the noodles were the perfect consistency.
I'll order from here again, but learning from previous experiences I strongly suggest ordering over the phone rather than online (getting an e-mail confirmation is no indication that they actually received your order!), and picking up the food yourself to ensure it's hot. -

STILL WAITING
well over an hour for delivery and still no food.
this is ridiculous.
CALLED THEM AT 1 HOUR
thailicious: 'oh yes your order is out with the delivery driver'
CALLED THEM AT 1.5 HOURS
thailicious: 'we have no record of your order'
for the record i have a confirmation email of my order. though the employee liked telling me i never placed an order repeatedly. crappy service and non-existent food.
**update**
emailed Thailicious and spoke with a manager. they offered us our meal redelivered the next day (or whenever we wanted) for free. they even sent the guy who dicked us around on the phone to deliver the food. he was very apologetic and so was the management.
i find this an adequate solution. but i forgive, though i never forget. Thailicious will always have a black eye with me. -

I am another who found this place on yummyweb (now http://just-eat.ca) and was very pleased with the delivery time and quality of the food. Their beef salad is the best and it's my go to delivery place when I get tired of pizza.

We arrived on a Monday under the auspices of one of Vancouver's rainy wet days. We were cold and hungry, and after a wrong turn in the neighborhood, scarred from the preponderance of methadone clinics we encountered on our ill-advised walk.
We decided to order food in and refuel, all the better to run if need be later (most of Vancouver is lovely and very safe, for the record). Thailicious required no phone number for delivery, which was good, as neither of our phones worked internationally. We placed our order online, sent it out into the dark abyss of the online food delivery world, and prayed.
30 or so minutes later, our food arrived. It's Thai delivery, so food-wise, it is what it is, but it was heaven to us.
In comparison, we tried ordering late night pizza from two separate pizza places the following two nights, and our orders still remain in limbo, perhaps for all of eternity. -

This was my go-to place to get Thai delivery when I first moved here.
What can I say?
Order over the phone, they regularly have specials ($ off, free rice), delivery's prompt, and the food is dependably delicious.
Pad Thai and Green Curry are the best I've had so far here, and am just sad they don't have a restaurant downtown. -

Our first time ordering Thailicious last night for delivery - papaya salad, green curry with chicken, spring rolls, and coconut rice.
First, I have to say that the quality of their food is very high, and delicious. Aside from Sawasdee on Main, I would say the papaya salad at Thailicious is the closest thing to the real deal (eating in Thailiand). The same goes for their spice level, where level 2 is hot enough and I can't imagine going any level higher. Other Thai resaurants in town fall short on quality comparison.
So for the quality of food we decided the price is ok, though definitely high ($11 for the curry). But we were completely stunned when we opened the packages at home to find the portion sizes were the smallest we'd ever seen in our lives. The curry did not even reach the halfway height of the container it was sitting in, and the container is 2 inches tall. There were about six pieces of chicken hiding in there, and the absolute smallest slivers of bell peppers. For $12 at Sawasdee you get a heaping huge portion of their best red duck curry, enough to feed three.
We were so shocked at the tiny size of curry we received that we called Thailicious immediately to ask what was going on. They did apologize and say their manager would call us back, but we never heard from them.
I wish I could have given them 5 stars for the taste of their very authentic food (everything was delicious, even the rice and spring rolls), but the curry was the biggest ripoff I've ever witnessed from a restaurant. -

Last night we ordered deliver: Spring rolls, Green Curry, and some noodles. Everything was great, some of the best Thai I've had in Vancouver. The curry was thinner than I was used to but was full of flavour. I think now I prefer the lighter texture.
I feel like the prices are a bit high. A bit cheaper and this would be a 5-star. -

I found Thailicious on Yummyweb the other night and decided to place an order for delivery.
The lady on the phone was very polite and friendly and made sure to ask me how spicy each individual dish should be! I was told it would be about 45 mins to an hour.
The food showed up pretty quick!
We found it kind of odd that the cashew chicken and the chicken curry for my friends didn't come with rice, so next time we'll just have to order it on the side.
The spring rolls were AMAZING. Nice and thick and crunchy and hot. Sooooooo delicious!
The Pad Thai was alright. I've definitely had better but maybe it was kinda "meh" because I only asked for mild spice. I'd absolutely be willing to try it again, but I think next time I'll ask for medium spice.
Aside from the lack of rice issue, everything was pretty good.
Hopefully the next order earns them a fourth star from me! -

Moved by Hoot's review, we gave Thailicious a whirl tonight.
Totally enjoyed the food although the chicken satay was a bit dry and the hot level (both temp and spice) was inconsistent between dishes. We chose medium spice for all and ordered all at the same time.
Over the phone and at the door the service was cheerful and adept.
Well priced at less than $50 for two including tip - there's plenty in the leftovers for another meal to boot. -

Hootie and I have ordered from here a few times. The food is always good and I think the prices are reasonable (Hootie would disagree).
It made me laugh when I ordered on Tuesday as they had a $5 off if you order online special (which I did) and then when they called to confirm the order, I was told they were taking the eco fee (or whatever it's called) off the bill as a special. I said "Great! So that, and my $5 off for ordering online..." to which I was told I needed to pick my discount. OK. Fine. I'll take the biggest one.
I'd order from here, discount or not. But here's a warning: they ask you to pick how hot you want your dishes on a scale of 1 - 5, where 5 is considered "hot." Both H and I love spicy food so I went with a 4 across the board. Holy cow! Great flavours, but hot as hell. My nose was running for hours after we finished eating. -

thailicious is right!
my brother and I were craving pad thai, and my normal delivery place's pad thai is straight up ketchup, so we yelped and found this place.
We ordered:
Tofu Green Thai Curry
Chicken Pad Thai
Spring Rolls
The curry had awesome big chunks of soft tofu, lots of bamboo shoots, and a small rice was enough for two of us. Excellent.
The pad thai was MUCH better than my other place, but not the best I've ever had. Lots of chicken, tofu and peanuts...oh and sprouts...mmmm...yep. Good.
Now the spring rolls. Wow. Holy crap thailicious deliciousness. A little greasy, so I rolled mine in a napkin to get some of it out, but it was still super hot. Most delivery rolls are cold or just warm...these were hot, crunchy, tasty deliciousness. I know I already said that, but it deserved it twice. MMM...
It was 15 minutes later than the timed delivery promise, but it was honestly worth the wait.
Pad Thai could use a bit of work, but this is definitely my new thai delivery place. -

The best Thai food I have found in Vancouver yet.
A group of friends and I ordered a silly amount of food to be delivered last night and everyone in the group was stoked!
The spring rolls are crunchy and tasty (not too greasy) and the calamari appetizer was delicious.
The massaman curry with peanuts and potatoes is super creamy and rich, so only choose this one if you want something decadent.
The green curry (the true test of any Thai joint!) was spicy and flavorful and full of plenty of bamboo shoots (yum!). The Tom Kha soup is creamy and sour just like it should be.
It took about an hour to be delivered but we ordered a shit ton and it was a rainy Sunday night, which is like prime time in the home delivery world. -

Fantastic. I love Thai food and have been disappointed in the Vancouver standard. (Never hot enough; too greasy; not enough lemongrass ... ) But this place is great! It comes the closest to what I ate in Chiang Mai. The spicy and sour soup is very lemony with plenty of kaffir lime leaves. I had it with chicken -- the amount they put in was generous.
The green curry was good, not spectacular, but solid. The green mango salad was fantastic, very authentic (apart from the addition of salmon, which I liked as a fusion touch). Try the very delicious thai iced tea, made with a touch of condensed milk.
Level 4 was hot enough to make my eyes water but didn't obscure the flavours ... I'm going for 5 next time but that is probably too hot for some people.
Another reviewer commented that the spice level varies between dishes ... I don't think this is a consistency problem so much as authenticity ... i.e. a level 5 green curry is hotter than a level 5 massaman curry because it's made with green chilies rather than a yellow spice paste. In Thailand, if I wanted *hot*, I always went for green. I know, it takes familiarity with Thai food to figure this out, but I for one like the way they do their hot here, partly because they let the hot dishes be really bold.
Friendly delivery in about 45 minutes, and the price seemed reasonable. -

I don't Understand why Thai food is sooo expensive, but it sure is good. We tried these guys for delivery and were very satisfied with everything (but the price $50 for 4 dishes)

I'm not overly familiar with Thai food and was kind of skeptical when my room mate suggested we order some. She helped me pick out what to get and we all placed our order. Delivery didn't take too long, the standard half hour or so that we are used to. The food was a bit pricey but there was so much! I ordered the chicken curry and the chicken pad thai. I was kind of disappointed that rice did not come with the curry, if I had of known this earlier I would have ordered some. Everything was very good and there is so much leftover. The mild curry was just right, not to hot but not bland.

I don't know if the other two reviews here are legit, but I ordered from them last night. It was really good actually. He asked me how hot I wanted it and he told me there was Canadian hot & Thai hot. I chose Thai hot and it was HOT. I enjoyed it.
The calamari was really delicious! The pad thai did not have ketchup in it (a good thing) and I was impressed with it. I also ordered the seafood curry which was good too. It had fish, oysters & shrimp in a red curry. The curry does not come with rice and you have to order it as a side. I orderd Thai sticky rice as the side and it was wrapped in saran and hard as a hockey puck. I had to pour water on it and nuke it to make it edible.
I quite enjoyed the meal and will certainly try it again. A $40 order served two with no leftovers but it was a good sized meal. . -

Have been searching for good Thai food that delivers to Gastown, forever. The owners of the local thai places are nice -- but the food not so much...what a fantastic surprise Thailicious was. Just like Thailand! My lips are burning. yum.

l love their food l'd probably say the best in Vancouver, l love when they give free appetizers with big purchases, the coconut rice is really good, my fav dish is the red curry, the spring rolls are beyond delicious!! , the only bad thing l'd say about them is that they only start delivering at 4:30pm, and it takes 45min-1hr for delivery :S so order on time if you are very hungry!
