Saw this small little hole in the wall while passing by and decided to try it.  My sister had the pad thai and she was it was one of the finest pad thais she had ever had in that it was beautifully multi-layered in terms of its flavours.  I tried their tom yum talay (thai seafood soup) and like the pad thai, it had many flavours going on simultaneously (spicy, sweet, sour, salty, etc).  The spicy part kind of crept up on me though.  I have a very high tolerance to heat and it didn't really taste all that hot at first.  But by the time I finished the soup, I was sweating profusely.  Customers should note though that the soups are large in their portions, it should be shared between two people (not piggish ones like me who ate it all by himself).  For my main, I tried the red curry chicken which was tasty although if I had any complaints, it had too much eggplant in it for my personal taste.  Another surprise for me was that the curry sauce was a lot thicker here than other red curries that I've tried elsewhere.  But it worked for me.  Didn't have room for dessert but they have some photos on their wall of their desserts which looked very interesting.

The kitchen is run by two people (an older couple I think) and they were very friendly.  As other reviewers have mentioned, it will take a while to get your food so I wouldn't go here if I were in a hurry.  I give this place two thumbs up.

This is the best pad thai I've ever had. After moving away from London years ago and living in a few culinary capitals, I still long for Thai Taste's spicy tofu pad thai "to go".

However, this five-star review comes with a few caveats. First of all, they're not reliably open. -- It's always a good idea to call first. And sometimes, it seems the guy just doesn't feel like cooking. Also, I'm pretty sure the restaurant used to be a Subway sandwich spot circa 1995. Since my last visit, they've painted it an even more garish color than before.

It's also worth noting that when you ask for spicy, they asume you mean it.

In summary: Call first, take out, pad thai.

Don't let the atmosphere fool you - the food is amazing. It's a tiny little place that you can easily miss.
The food takes forever but it's worth the wait! A quick one-dish order takes about 20 minutes; a full meal for a few people and you're looking at an hour or so.
The most delicious Pad Thai ever, for real.
Strongly recommend getting take out, as the broken coolers and bright yellow walls detract from what is otherwise a really great meal.

Delicious, authentic food served in a neon yellow environment!

Had the Pad Thai here, and answered yes when the lovely man behind the counter asked me questions. Once I realized my error (answering yes when I didn't understand the question) and picked the many, tiny squid out of the Pad Thai I was once again thrilled.  Good food, great prices, and I learned not to always say yes.
Don't expect to get your food in a hurry, it is often one guy, or the guy and his ... wife?... that are making the food.
