Not bad for Thai food if you are hungry. Reasonable prices and tasty noodle dishes. The dishes could use some more vegetables to go with the tasty noodles and meat/tofu.

Thai Siam fits in to the long list of Thai restaurants that taste good to me, but I don't know if it's authentic, good, bad, or otherwise. Basically, my three star range for Thai is enormous - I'm not sure what would push me up to a four.
I had a regular old green curry, which came in a huge helping with lots of good veggies, and we also enjoyed a ground chicken dish with lime, carrot, and onion. The tangy chicken was good with the sweet/spicy curry, so this was a good combo, and the lime flavor was something I'd not tried before. Not sure if it's just something I've missed on other menus.
Price was reasonable, service was fine, and they were open late, so, no complaints really. There's lots of places to try in Victoria, so I'd be back, but maybe not right away. -

Victoria has several great Thai restaurants, but Thai Siam is probably my favourite of the bunch.
I have frequent cravings for their Tom Kha Gai soup. I've had several variations, I think Thai Siam's is the tastiest.
The Pad Thai is delicious, and we usually order a seafood curry and a rice dish to round out the meal.
I've been to Thai Siam half a dozen times, and I've never left disappointed. -

I have experienced better, but this wasn't as poor as I expected based on the previous reviews.
We went with low expectations because we were starving and very close. Red curry had lots of flavor, pad thai was good but a bit salty. Large portions. Lots of people in there.
Service staff are a bit scatterbrained--one woman waited about 20 minutes for change, and had to remind one of the guys that she had given him a twenty and needed money back. He had zero recollection, but gave her the change she told him she was owed.
It wasn't bad at all, but wasn't top notch. We actually found that the microwaved leftovers were quite decent the next day! -

I only can give 1 star for providing me something to eat.
Service: two guys were serving on not a busy evening. Speaks good English but not polite at all...may be they can learn to speak nicely to customers first before serving food.
Food: Ordered shrimp (only 6 shrimps) fried rice. large portion but pineapples were cold and felt good were microwaved. Did not feel food was fresh at all.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. -

I have never had a bad meal from Thai Siam. The service has always been quick, friendly and very welcoming without being obtrusive.
A personal favourite is the Pad Thai with chicken. To be honest, it's now the only pad thai that I'll eat - it's that good! The rest of the menu is also great; the spring rolls are tasty and crisp with a wonderful and unusual dipping sauce, and the curries are a wonderful blend of coconut milk and spice. Very tasty!
Thai Siam is fantastic for take-out. The portions are huge (great for sharing) and prepared quickly while you wait - there isn't much need to call ahead, as most dishes can be prepared in 10-15 minutes.
Though there are many Thai places in Victoria to get great food, Thai Siam is my favourite and a favourite among many of my friends. -

Terrible food! An insult.

Siam used to be my one and only thai place... it used to be good. I'm not sure whats happened there, but it feels like fast food thai now with no fresh taste. My loyalties have moved on as siam as gone further and further down hill in quality of food. It seems like now it's just a tourist trap with few redeeming features (it's not cheap either). Goodbye my noodle delight! I will miss you.
