I would just like to say I had the worst experience of my life here. I have never seen such uncaring people in my life. I brought my cat there because he was sick, ( and I am editing this review now as I was so upset I asked a family member to write it for me )  We took our beloved cat here as he seemed to be in pain- when we got in he had voided his bladder( which just happened on the way there.) Dr. Irwin came in and said that he had cysts in his bladder that had now blocked his urethra and that it is a very serious condition and that obviously the cat was in pain.He then informed me that it would be about $1200  to fix him up and that he could not guarantee that it wouldn't happen again.I informed him that I couldn't afford that at this time and he said the only other option was to put him down.I then asked if he could give my cat a painkiller so I could calm down a bit and think things through rationally as I was in a state of shock and very distressed by this situation, he said that would cost alot extra and that I was just postponing the inevitable.Believing I had no alternative and that my cat was suffering we chose to put him down. As we left and I was paying and obviously very sad to lose part of our family in such a short, shocking period of time,I was crying and tthe receptionist slammed a box of kleenex down in front of me without even looking at us or saying a word.I am totally regretting the decision I had to make and want to warn others that if you really love your pets do not go here ,they only care about the money and they don't give a damn about you or your animals. In addition I would like to add that they charged me an extra $ 50.00 to be in the room to hold my  furry friend while they murdered him. In retrospect had I not been under such emotional duress and pressure from this vet I would have payed for a painkiller and took my cat elsewhere  and tried to find someone I could do up a contract with for payments or at least a more reasonable price for his surgery :( We really miss him!!! :'(
