This is hands down the best Teppan-yaki restaurant I have ever been too.
Every time I have been here, it has never disappointed me. The food and service is great. The chef's are awesome and entertaining!
Unfortunately it is on the pricy-er side so I wish I could come more often but when I am able to it's always a good time! For Whistler, it's definitely one of the nicer restaurants. -

Teppan Village is another Benihana style Tenpanyaki. They put on a fantastic show...flaming onion volcano, catch the shrimp tails in the hat, make it snow salt, psuedo salt and pepper shakers juggle, and alcohol pyrotechnic.
In my mind you come here for the show, pay for the show, and sample the food. The food is good no doubt, but expect to walk out hungry for $40 (Village Special). Tack on a premium for being in Whistler.
Service is satisfactory and they are very accomodating to large groups. -

Standard Japanese entertainment chefs. The food was good, but not amazing. If you have kids who haven't been, by all means take them. Otherwise you can safely skip.

Came back again this year and they had the same steak & lobster special! The lobster was supposed to be 1lb but mine was huge. It came with soup, salad, shrimp appetizer, NY steak, rice and veggies. The lobster is live and in the tank when you walk in. They cook the lobster in sake and it was juicy and delicious. I couldn't finish the whole meal! Not sure why other reviewers didn't enjoy the experience.

The real rating = 2.5 stars. It's nothing more than a glorified Benihana, and I am not a big fan of Benihani. But, at least with Beni, the price is reflective of the food. Granted, EVERYTHING is more expensive in Whistler, but $70 for a set menu, not including drinks - I AM EXPECTING better food. Walked away full, but not satisfied.
I ordered Steak and Lobster. My GF had Teriyaki Chicken, Steak and Shitake Mushrooms. Food was adequate. We didn't get sick and it was edible, but for $70 each, I wanted to be WoWed by @ least ONE thing, nope. Even the entertainment was just OK. Bummed we didn't opt for sushi instead, but we will next time :)
