I had a gift card to spend.  I was so psyched to get a refill of my very favorite "Jasmine  Dragon Pearls".
I've never tried crack cocaine, but as long as there is Jasmine tea, I won't have to.
The staff who served me were very kind and attentive.  I did not feel rushed. I was offered a cup of hot tea on sample as I browsed and sniffed the tins.
My previous visit was all about a Chai Latté date with my friend the "tea junkie".
We sat on the comfy chairs and gabbed away over our cuppas.
I also like to ogle the fancy tea pots and accessories.
I can't wait to go back.
P.S.  Why would a person expect to get a refund on loose tea?  That's just gross.

This is a great place for tea lovers! They've got a really big selection of looseleaf teas; I've tried 3 different kinds and loved all of them. They've also got a good selection of tea-related goods, such as teapots, jars for looseleaf tea, travel mugs specially made for drinking tea, things like that. They also often have samples, and will allow you to try a bit (I tried the matcha green tea last time I was there).

Their prices are a tad on the high side, but not bad for what you get (I mean, you can't expect fancy looseleaf teas to cost the same as a box of tea bags from the grocery store).

I'm more of a coffee gal, but do enjoy drinking tea. I was reacquainted with the world of tea at a new tea shop in Kingway mall called Teaopia. It's a great place to stop when you'd like something warm to drink and don't want coffee. They have fancy tea concoctions to suit your taste from standard black tea to low fat soy chi lattes. Good stuff! The cost of drinks are on par with other specialty coffee and tea outlets.

It's a small shop but has a good selection of bulk teas, tea pots, tea diffusers, mugs and other tea accessories. The prices are a bit high, but it is a specialty shop after all.  I liked the fact there were two types of tea samples available when you entered the store. I sampled the Japanese Cherry Green Tea and loved it. It's sweet, but not too sweet and doesn't have an overpowering green tea flavour or after taste. Needless to say I took some home.
