Review from Jennifer K.

Thanks for reading my 900th review!
I am a tea drinker and coffee drinker and a cocktail drinker, I just like to have a taste of everything! :)
I am so glad and excited that all these Tea shops are opening up in every single neighbourhood in Toronto and GTA.
Sorry DavidTEa, Teaopia you really doesn't make the cut. I know your stores are nicely decorated and you carry a lot of fancy products, but shopping with your stores will never have the personal touch as shopping at Tea & Treats.
Tea & Treats is a small shop. But doesn't mean that there are limited in tea selections.. There are over 50 different kind of loose leave tea on displayed which I am smell them all... Just doing that is an experience in itself.. Though most of tea that are in the affordable $10/100g range, there are some pricier for around $25/100g...
It was such a good experience able to talk to the lady about different kind of tea and what kind of tea she enjoys the most...
Tea & Treats also carries Natural Health products and of course a lot of tea accessories!
I hope that more of these individually own/run tea shops will survive under the steep competition from those franchise tea shops... Just think how it would be if only Starbucks and Second Cups around if you want to have a cappuccino? That's scary scenario!!Listed in: Loose Leaf Teas!, A Day in Vaughan!

Tea & Treats isn't as FLASHY as it's competitors nearby such as Teaopia in Vaughan Mills but there's a nice calmness that should come along with the Tea purchasing experience rather than a rowdy group of Teens hounding your back. That's just my preference, maybe you like Teens on your back?
The main difference that I found was that their also sell GINSENG items. Also they have some Wellness Tea and non-Tea products that are Herbal in the sense that similar to Chinese Herbal Medicine can have healing properties.
Holiday Winter Cookie(Ceylon, Orange Peel, Spice) was my pick because it smelled just like the name describes and I was looking for an afternoon Tea to enjoy during work. FYI, it aromatic of Cookie scent but it doesn't taste like Cookie.Listed in: T
