At first glance this looks like a promising little restaurant; it was clean and looked well taken care of. We were one of 1 other table when we sat down.
The waiter was prompt and took drink orders. That is where the pleasant experience basically ended. The waiter disappeared for quite a while before returning to take our order. Once the order was placed the dishes took a very long time to serve - and came out 1 at a time with a significant time span in between each instead of bringing them all at once. The wonton soup I ordered arrived with a large piece of plastic in it. After managing to flag down a waiter this was sent back. This soup finally showed up again near the very end of the meal.
The chicken mooshi was so salty it was inedible as well as having a funny taste to it. The wonton had no flavor to it except salt.
No one came back - at any point - to check on our drinks/refill, or see how the food was in general.
I went to pay and was ignored at the till for around 10 minutes. Employees actually walked around me. After over 10 minutes, I managed to get an employee's attention and had to ask them if I could pay.
After telling the employee of the horrible experience/food we were still charged full price for the food.
I would not recommend. There are plenty of other much better Chinese places in Winnipeg to choose from.
