I have a 13-year-old yellow Labrador Retriever. Given her age, she doesn't get into a whole lot of trouble anymore, but, like all dogs, she enjoys an occasional roll in something stinky followed by a quick dip in the swamp. And that means, of course, that it's bath-time for Emma, no matter how much she hates it.
Now, I know I could stick her in the bathtub at home, but she sheds like a ... well, like a Labrador retriever, and the cleanup after the bath is a bigger ordeal than the bath itself.
And herein lies the beauty and convenience of Metro Dog Wash: I can just take my filthy dog there, get her nice and squeaky, and then THEY CLEAN UP AFTER ME.
Ah, so sweet. Also, they have ramps leading up to some of their tubs, (steps to others) and because my dog is old and heavy, this makes getting her into the tub very simple, and less painful and stressful for her.
Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and there are lots of goodies to buy your freshly-clean pooch afterwards.
They also have an in-house groomer, and if you're so inclined, you can leave Fifi for a full shampoo, cut, and blow-dry. -

Well it was time to for Murphy to get a bath. Murphy is 5 and has an issue with listing for some reason so bathing him in a normal tub is what I call a nightmare.
A girl at works takes her lab there and recommended Metro to us. We booked our appointment and off we go to drop Murphy off. WOW this is like a Spa for him. He was so excited getting his bath and the only reason that we did not do it yourself is that we needed the naps cut out.
2 hours later we picked him up and he was so pretty and he smelled great alot better. Naps all gone for $70 which is not bad when you think about it. The girl that did him and I am sorry as I do not remember her name was great you could tell that she was a dog lover. Very warm and caring to him. Next time when we take him back I would like to try the do it your self dog wash..
