This is the only spot where the staff will recognize my dog outside of their location. I know my pet will get the best attention at daycare and their grooming service is amazing.
Always friendly and have a good range of natural products. -

I'll be honest with you - I always knew I'd be a yuppie dog owner. The kind who spends far too much money on leashes, collars, beds, food, trips to the park, and any of the thousands of other ways that dogs can suck money right out of your pocket. Knowing that, I'm not going to try to convince any of you who don't know why anyone would ever take a pet to 'day care' that you should try Tailwagrrrs. However, if you have dogs, if you've thought about trying a service like this, and if you want your dogs to have the absolute time of their lives, you can look no further.
Sharing a parking lot with the Clay Café on the Bedford Highway - across from Palooka's Gym - Tailwagrrrs is the best thing to ever happen to my dogs. With day care services available from 730am-7pm (on weekdays), the hours are flexible enough to ensure that on the days when I have to work all day only to leave them alone at the house again all night, that I have an alternative that makes sure my dogs are not just taken care of, but having fun.
Kathleen (the owner) and Julie (the manager) both know have an incredible passion for pet wellness and genuinely care about their customers. Whenever I arrive, they seem thrilled to see my puppies and almost instantly have them scooped up in their arms for overdue kisses. I'm serious. My dogs never want to leave.
They have plenty of staff working to ensure all the dogs are safe, healthy and socializing - most of whom are trained in pet behaviour or have learned enough from Kathleen's strong example. While there's a definite bias toward wiener dogs (which works out well for mine), all breeds are welcome for day care, training, or grooming.
Their community involvement and fundraising is the cherry on top of a welcome business to our city. They've recently expanded, adding a location in Halifax as well for the convenience of their customers. -

This is the cutest, most creative store I've been into yet! I heard so many people talking about it, that I had to check it out.
They are a cafe/bakery for dogs! Does it get much cooler than that? WOW! They have a section so you can wash your own dog as well. Are you ready for the best part.....they host doggie birthday parties! Yes, you read correctly! I was blown away! The only thing I think they forgot is to incorporate a doggie dating service. lol -

A fantastic spot for socializing your dog. The staff is wonderful and whenever my dog is there for daycare I have no concern about his welfare. They've recently renovated to include a cafe for humans waiting while their fur friends are groomed and more separate play areas for dogs of different activity levels.
