If Lassie knew about this place I swear he would come back from the dead to shop here.

This is an ultimate of health food store ... but for pets!!  I got hungry just looking at all the food titles here.  For doggy treats expect pumpkin and apple, pumpkin and banana, pumpkin and cranberry, and pumpkin and blueberry.

A huge refrigerator held dozens of well packaged frozen raw foods. There was elk, catfish, duck, lamb, bison, chicken, beef roll, turkey, vegetable and fruit and prairie fed green tripe. There are 4 rows of speciality pet foods here, and some great pet toys that I haven't seen at other places.  Like your oddly shaped fetch balls, that bounce irregularly and the hide the serpent in the box plush toy; now I know this will entertain your dog for hours.

The woman there was very nice and knew here regulars very well.  She was able to memorize exactly what their needs were because she would refer to previous visits and ask her clients if that food had worked for them.

I was especially blown away by the raw bars that contained crunchy peanuts and honey, yogurt with apples and bananas, and Icelandic whitefish and sweet potato.

After my visit here I actually went for lunch.

Tail Blazers is a cute little health food store dedicated to selling wholesome, healthy treats for your favourite four-legged family members. That's right y'all, a gourmet health food store catering exclusively to pets.

Whether you're looking to spoil your mutt with fruit snacks, frozen dinners or a variety of different bones (bison, elk, lamb, etc etc), Tail Blazers has got one of the most unique pet food selections I have ever seen.

The store is a little dark and cramped and the layout could be better, but in terms of the selection of merchandise they carry, it is most definitely worth a visit.

Now that I've discovered this place, the only thing I'm missing is a pet. Minor detail.
