Review from Mike H.

We've eaten here around 20 times over the last decade and it's always been fine. High percentage of getting the orders right, service was fine. Overall prices have been lower than closer to Toronto and quantities are consistently higher. If you go in here unreasonably expecting a 5 star restaurant you will be disappointed...if you're more realistic and expect your standard fast food joint you will be happy. Drive thru open late and efficient. I've tried Taco Bell's right across North America and Ontario's are consistently at or above standard...you want scary, try one in L.A., Vegas or Detroit!!!

It doesn't matter what I order, I will experience explosive diarrhea after eating here, every time. Also, the sign outside often has spelling errors. The 5 layer burritos are pretty good though, and the staff are very polite and patient with potheads who take 20 minutes to order. I'd recommend this place, but only to those who are poor and/or drunk.

Oh god, Taco Bell. Whatever force compels you to eat here - ever - is vastly outweighed by the regret that inevitably follows. Unfortunately, that regret eventually fades, until it's renewed - and there's only one way to renew it.
*shudder*
My issues with Taco Bell restaurants (possibly only in Southern Ontario, there's no way they can stay in business if they're all this bad) are exemplified by this location. To wit:
-The decor and furnishings haven't been updated since the place opened. It looks about the same vintage as the one in Oakville (where I live) so I'm thinking mid 90s. For those of you who, like me, are starting to disbelieve about how old you're getting - that's fifteen years ago at this point, folks. A significant number of the seats were broken last I was in there, and the tables just didn't look clean.
-A general lack of hygiene by the staff. I don't want you to work on that guy's food, handle his money (ick) and THEN HANDLE MY FOOD.
-A fire seems to have taken out some of the building's fascia - an overhang. Their approach seems to have been to board up the exposed area and reopen. This one is definitely location specific, but keenly demonstrates the lack of upkeep.
-In general, the place is a waste of real estate, minimum wage labour, and the re-purposed caulking guns that dispense their sour cream and such.
The good points:
-The hot sauce does still have a bit of a kick (but not much)
-They serve Dr. Pepper - the nectar of the gods, and from a fountain at that.
I'd cover the post-meal heartburn and the general sense that I'm going to experience the meal at least once more, but that would be beating a dead horse. Do yourself a favour: McDonald's is about 2 minutes away, has clean tables, a fireplace (!), less gastronomically offensive food, and even WiFi.
