I used to live in this neighbourhood and we would drive by daily but never notice the little store. One day we parked in front of the store to go to the pet store and on the way back we walked in and bought some of the ice cream. I have never eaten better ice cream then this ( and trust me they make pretty damn good ice cream in Europe!!! ). The owner makes all his ice cream fresh in the basement himself!! Every day he makes something else and they are pretty much all to die for!! If you are in the neighbourhood do not miss out on this ice cream!!! A must go to place!!

Sweet Olenka's has such unique ice cream that I have not heard of and would not have imagine that is possible....

Brandied fig and goat cheese ice cream?? I have to say it is interesting...

But I love my Dark Chocolate Ginger with real big chunk of ginger!! Bitter, sweet and zesty at the same time...what an interesting combination.

Friendly staff who is proud of Sweet Olenka's products, but what's not to love in an ice cream, dessert stores where every customers come in with a big smile and leave on a sugar high.

All the chocolate are so cute! I could not resist and got 2 to try... of course my usual fave Spicy Hot Chocolate was so delicious!

    Delicious looking Chocolate.
Enticing Cakes & Ice Cream Sandwiches.
    Interesting Ice Cream combinations.
Historic looking Children knik knak displays.
Mummies & Children coming thru the doorway every 2-minutes.

I just came for the following Ice Cream...
    Brandied Fig & GOAT Cheese.
    But discovered...
    Roasted Rum Banana.

Goat Cheese was slight texture difference to the Ice Cream.
It has more similarities than not but when you get that bite inbetween.
It's noticeable and you know you hit Goat Cheese landmine.
Banana is real Banana and taste homemade not artificial at all.

Brandy nor Rum was heavy enough which was unfortunate for me.
Keep the Children in mind I guess.  Even without, it's a good treat.

I almost caved on the Ice Cream Sandwiches.
I was seated right next to the fridge.
I'm sure to cave in next time around.

We spotted this place as we drive through lakeshore village all the time. The sign alone drew me in, stating that they made homemade chocolates, ice cream and confectionary. SOLD!

We ended up here one hot summer night when my boyfriends parents and sister were visiting from Boston. We were all very happy with our ice cream choices. I tried the Bailey's Chocolate Truffle and it was absolutelly fantastic. We all loved what we tried and knew we'd be going back again.

The place is small, but they have a few tables inside to sit at. The staff were friendly, and gave my boyfriend a sample when he wasn't sure what he wanted to order. Will probably be our new go-to place for Ice Cream!

I walked by this place on the Lakeshore a million times, as I went for falafels next door. A newspaper review had me go into this tiny storefront, and I left with an armload of chocolate.

The store may be tiny, but it is stocked wall to wall with delicious cocoa treats, (I believe all made fresh on the premises). I picked up a sampling of delicious truffles and a brownie for my wife. On the ride home, the smell of the brownie drove me crazy, inviting me to take a tiny nibble. One thing led to another, and that brownie did not make it home!

Apparently their ice cream is delicious too, I haven't tried it yet, but with flavours like "Brandied fig goat cheese ice cream" I just may have to this summer.

*UPDATE* They moved down the street to a bigger location, same side, just further East.
