Okay....keep in mind it is Kingston and sushi around these parts is never spectacular. But Sushi Ya is a surprisingly good "roll expert" as advertised.
The red dragon roll, rainbow roll and princess roll (served a fire lit plate) are solid, with creative flavor accents and balanced construction (the most important aspect of good maki)
So I would give it a try and see if you like it. -

i think it was more like 4 star in terms of food taste
however we felt portions were a little smaller then usual. drinks were too pricey
service was a little slow
we took 5 rolls, bogulgi dish (very small portion as well )3 beers, glass of wine and small sake
$150 was a little up there. but the food tasted good and fresh
we are used to larger portions (as in larger sushi pieces with 8 pcs and not 6!)
