Squamish, BC
This is my favourite restaurant in Squamish. It's our 'date night' spot too (with my boyfriend Tony) - we are regulars and go at least 2 times a month. Every single meal we have ever had has been perfection. The service is great and even though it's always busy, the turnover is incredibly fast and we actually love all of the hubbub. It's worth driving from Whistler or Vancouver and don't worry, even if there is a line up, you will be eating within 20 minutes max.

This is simply the best sushi restaurant in Squamish. Their sushi is very authentic (made by Japanese chefs not Chinese or Korean...not dissing Chinese nor Korean sushi chefs), which shows in the style and presentation. The taste is always very fresh which is a result of high quality fish and perfect sushi rice. Most combos and bento boxes are about $10 which is very good value for what one gets.
The restaurant is always packed during lunch, so be patient to wait. However, their service is quick and efficient. There is only a few parking spaces in front, so be prepared to park and walk about a block or two. They will open their patio in the summer which is a nice experience if you enjoy sushi under the sun. -
Review from Just M.
Ate here a couple of times during my recent stay. Very good sushi. Presentation needs work but the quality is very good. The place is a bit cramped as there are only about 8 tables plus the bar. So expect to wait. You cannot order sushi directly from the bar. They serve Asahi Kuronama aka Black. Damn good dark beer. Too bad it's bottles and not on tap which is waaaay better.

Great Sushi
Normally very busy. Just make sure the owner is there when you go.
She is petite and Japanese. When she is working everything is amazing. -

This is my favorite pit stop for lunch or dinner on the way up, or on the way down from Whistler. Its a small quaint authentic Japanese restaurant and the owners speak Japanese! They've recently expanded their space to include a sheltered outdoor patio. The food is always fresh and daily specials are excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful.
