Their Toro Negiri is amazing because it`s only a $1.30 apiece!
In Japan, this sushi is like butter and it`s expensive.
In Canada, it`s not quite like as good, but it`s close and it`s expensive.
Here at Sushi Garden, it`s so affordable that you can`t believe it`s not butter!
Sorry for that bad pun.  The sushi is good and so affordable, no wonder people come here.

We also ordered the salad which was probably good enough for three people if they ate it family style.

This time around, I decided to take that plunge (always taking a plunge it seems these days :) ).  And ordered the Chi Chee roll, which is a Chicken Katsu roll with Grilled / baked Mozza cheese on top.  It takes 15 minutes.  They always inform you that it takes time because their sushi comes out  ``faster than  you can check in on Yelp``.  It`s true! I timed it!

15 minutes at normal sushi joints is usually standard time to just get an order of california roll, or about the time it takes to place an order to order your california roll.

Here at the Sushi Gardens, it`s a very long time.
In One minute after you order your food, the salad is on  your table and the next minute, the Spicy tuna roll is on the table.  They`re that fast and efficient when you arrive after peak hours (3 to 5 pm).

    Sugoi!!!

Authentic? absolutely not, but will get you your sushi fix for decent dough.
Service is fast, portions are large and fresh.
Food quality is borderline (to someone who's lived in Japan).
I only come here when others want to.
I would give 5 stars for the cheapest largest portions here. Try samurai sushi for even larger portions at similar pricing!

Go here only for takeout, or during off-peak hours. But why go out of your way just to eat here? The food is okay, but the crowds that come here in droves make the experience more like a battle for the food.

There's always a line-up for this super crowded and loud restaurant. It is true, the sashimi portions are huge. If you like thickly-sliced, chewy raw fish.

You can get good service when it's quiet here but when you come during busy hours count your lucky stars they aren't pushing you, chair and all, out the door.

Unbelievable that people seem to be complaining that this place has long line-ups and giving a lower rating because of it (at least in part). I went there for the 2nd time and it did not disapoint. Great sushi at a good price.

The service here was great despite it being dinner time. We had to wait 20 minutes for a table, but our order was taken immediately and brought about 10 minutes later, with one error - one sauce was not on the side, as requested, but we didn't send it back - too hungry!
(Yes, I know that was a run-on sentence,)
The food was good - the spicy dishes not spicy enough, but we disagreed on that - and the portions:prices were fine.
It seemed to me the staff was all or mostly Japanese, as they were uniformly polite, professional and thoughtful (one ran after me on the street with the water bottle I'd forgotten and no, I hadn't tipped very well at all!) I'm 'hungry' for that kind of service in Vancouver.
Several posters said they encountered rude service, but everyone was responsive and polite to us.
Being treated this well for such a decent price makes it worth including a meal here when I'm in the neighbourhood.

It's definitely good... not the best sushi in Burnaby by a long shot, but Sushi Garden has excellent value.

The waits can be pretty long on weekends so the staff is in a rush to get you out.

I love this place and use it as a benchmark to judge all other sushi.

I have been coming here for at least 15 years, ever since it was just a little hole in the wall.

The food has evolved a bit over time and the rolls have gotten a little smaller but that isn't such a bad thing. They are still huge but at least now they fit in your mouth.

I think it is hysterical that the waitresses are still rude after all these years and I hope they neve change.

The kitchen staff is always super busy but friendly and quick say thank you when you leave.

I don't mind the wait times or the crowd - it is all part of the sushi garden experience.

I don't miss too many things about my hometown but this place is one of the big ones.

Sushi Garden had been my go-to inexpensive sushi in the Metrotown area for ages. Since I used to work in the area, it had been the site of many work lunches and take-outs. I thought it was the best thing ever. But as it turns out, my fellow Yelpers, everything is a theory in relativity.

My favourites from the SG menu are the Alaska roll, spicy tuna sashimi, and tuna gomae. Saucy and plentiful. These were things I ordered over and over again. Until one day, BAM, I discovered Sushi Oyama a few blocks away (http://www.yelp.ca/biz...). Oyama kicks it up a notch, all for comparative prices. Forgive me for mentioning another restaurant in this review. But it's hard to not compare the two as both are very popular Japanese restaurants in the same neighbourhood. Don't get me wrong, the food here at SG is ok. But there are other reasons why I am hesitant coming back here:

    1. Outrageous lines. During lunch and dinner rush hours, it's not unheard of to wait 30-45 minutes for a table for 2! Really people?!?! The food here is not worth THAT long of a wait.

    2. Loud and cramped seating. Their goal is to turn over as many people as possible and as fast as possible. The result: you cannot have a conversation without yelling, and you'd literally be rubbing elbows with customers at the table over. I never linger after finishing my meal because I feel bad for all the people waiting in line for the next empty table.

    3. Service. My boyfriend and I had a running bet on this. We had never ever seen a waitress here smile (there is this one guy who smiles. Kudos to him!). They take your orders coldly and just shove the food on your table. I'm not expecting full on attention, but at least a smile to acknowledge that customers are valued... that would be nice, no?

Cheap quality sushi is plentiful in a town like Vancouver. The food is not mind blowingly good. If SG wants to be a dine-in restaurant, I think it's rather inexcusable to provide this kind of customer service. If I ever crave SG food for some reason (not really likely), I would get take out only.

The most amazing Alaska Roll. Ever.

Essentially an avocado roll, with tobiko and a thin slice of salmon on top, drizzled in this partially sweet sauce. Every bite is a mingling of delicious flavours and textures.

I also ordered some toro sashimi, salmon sashimi, and got a bite of the spicy tuna sashimi. All the fish was fresh, and pieces were large!

Prices are very reasonable here, with lots of different rolls and other items on the menu. Service was decent, but I'm sure there'll be a wait here during prime dinner time.

But for the Alaska Roll, it's definitely worth the wait.

This is my "go-to" sushi take out place not just for its proximity, but for $20 we can have a quick-sushi take-out night - with "take-out" being the operative words.

I've seen other reviews regarding their lack of service especially because it is so popular and jam packed almost 24-7, so take-out is really the way to go.  But even with take-out, it can get pretty crazy on a Saturday night as they probably do as many take-out orders, if not more, as dine-in.

It's not the super authentic and fancier Sushi restaurant where there's a fresh daily menu board and you can have your pick of all the freshest ingredients, but the menu is concise for the simple sushi/cooked food appetite. Basically quantity over quality, at acceptable standards for the masses.

You've probably heard of that formula for success for many other sushi restaurants which exhibit the same crazy line-ups: modest pricing, simple menu with combos, and consistent portions for the MASSES.  But after time, many of these restaurants get run downed and eventually get slapped with a health violation notice. And after 13 years, Sushi Garden has renovated/expanded twice in their current location and opened a 2nd location on Lougheed Highway 2 years ago.

Again, customer service is not their strong suit as it's often cramped with a big line-up by the door and they need quick turn-over to get others seated. I wouldn't even known when is a "slow" day/time that wouldn't be the case because it's that busy almost all the time unless it's a total weird hour like 4pm on a Tuesday. The only recommendation I have is to order take-out because the portions and quality are the same otherwise.

My favourite combo - spicy-tuna combo. $8 gets you a good stack of spicy-tuna sashimi, spicy tuna rolls, and kappa (cucumber) rolls. Also you can make 1 substitution in any combo with $1 extra charge if applicable.

    Sushi all day and everyday!

Sure, my Japanese friends refuse to step foot in this place, but it's good enough for me :) Waits are long and you can't park on Kingsway during rush hour.  The place is small and cramped, but you don't come here for the ambiance.

You come here for... the Alaska Roll!! *drool*  Please only order it if you truly like avocados and salmon.  Affordable and tasty. PS. Try take out if you can't stand the crowds. Order in advance and make sure to check your order before you leave.

Being from LA, it's almost normal to go out for some sushi and get a good kick in the balls when the bill lands on your door step. Flashy, chic, fusion, Hollywood glitz and glamour, everything looks mesmerizing except the overpriced dollar signs and the mediocre taste of the food. Not saying there aren't any great sushi joints down here but just making a point.

I was told sushi in these parts of North America was cheap, fresh, and generous. Sushi Garden was selected and of course, I'm never going to say no to Japanese food. We decided to meet some of our local buddies for dinner here.

The wait was about 20-30 minutes on a late Sunday night (table of five). Yes, you need to have your entire party before you get a table. I've read reviews on this place and that seems to be a common complaint. There are a good amount of LA joints that function the same way. Have you been to Boiling Crab? They're adamant about having your entire party there before seating you. You can have 9 people out of a party of 10 and that 10th person is a 5 year old who is shatting the hell out of the toilet and is not physically present. Yet, they may still not seat you. I guess I'm use to it so it wasn't a shocker when Sushi Garden presented us with this same rule. Besides we knew we had to wait for our friends to arrive anyways.

Another complaint I read was that the staff treats you like cattle and attempts to chase you out. I never really felt like I had to scarf down my food and GTFO of the restaurant. And if I did, I'd purposely sit on my a$$ and attempt to scoop each grain of sushi rice one by one with my chopsticks just to piss them off. They did want to take our order right away but we just told them we needed more time. Simple as that. The menu is somewhat overwhelming. Lots of different rolls, sashimi, hot food, appetizers, etc. I didn't know what to order because I wanted everything. We ended up ordering a bunch of items and shared.

The sushi was fresh and our sashimi cuts were ginormous. I couldn't believe it when I saw the prices of the nigiri sushi. Although it doesn't come in pairs, $1-2 for one piece is unheard of! To me that is like super happy hour prices. The only drawback is that I didn't see albacore sushi on the menu. Maybe I was blind sided by everything else like the "wild" salmon. I always wrap up my meal with an order of the tamago (desert) sushi. To a simple mind, this item is just a baked egg on rice. To me, this is the deal breaker. The consistency of the texture needs to be well balanced as well as the taste of the egg. You need to think of the word "refreshing" while you're chewing it. Sushi Garden passed this final test with flying colors. I commend ya'll.

In the end, I would recommend sticking to the sushi and sashimi if you dine here. We ordered a few rolls and they were decent but nothing great. The spider roll (soft shell crab) was an exception though. We didn't have any issues with mushy or inconsistent sushi rice falling apart. It was only breaking apart because the cuts were too big for a single bite. For the price, I'm all for it. For the hefty pieces of fresh fish, I'm all in. The wait will always be present, so just get there early and be patient.

By Vancouver standards Sushi Garden is far from being the best or even a "really good" sushi joint in the city. Let's be real, if you're coming here to eat and braving the long peak-hour waits then you're probably more interested in value & portion size than getting the best quality imported fish flown in fresh each day from Japan.

Sushi Garden has no pretenses about what it is - it's a fast revolving door of large portions, cheap prices, cheap crowds and fairly tasty sushi. If you can't keep up with the pace, or lower your expectations accordingly, then it's best you pass on this place or take it to-go.

I come here maybe once a month as it's nearby, quick, cheap, tastes decent, and has yet to give me food poisoning.

If you want to be treated like cattle or be completely unappreciated for your business - then by all means, this is the place for you!

If you have a party of 4 and ONE person in your party hasn't arrived yet, they will not seat you, let you order, or split your tables into 2.  Ridiculous.

After getting our name called 30 minutes after we arrived, the kicker was an eye-roll, simultaneous 180 degree swivel of disdain accompanied by a very audible groan from the waitress ("AUGH..!")  when she realized we only had 3 out of 4 people in our party there.

Don't waste your time or money here, there are many many other options out there!!

We hit up the Kingsway location of Sushi Garden across the street from Metrotown. I had only been to the Burnaby North location on Lougheed.

The food was pretty solid from the raw fish to rolls and cooked dishes. My standard dish of spicy chopped scallop roll was tasty as well as some fresh sashimi.

The beef fried udon was delicious but hard to scoop as we shared our orders. I was pretty pleased as punch with all the Japanese goodness and a full menu of delectable items to order and consume.

I don't hit up Burnaby often, but I do enjoy the tasty efforts from the Garden.

A two-star rating according to Yelp is defined as "Meh. I've experienced better". Well, isn't that the truth.

When Sushi Garden first opened up years ago, it was a small, quiet establishment where customers were valued. The presentation and quality of food was decent and prices reasonable.

Fast-forward to today; present time. The service is at an all-time low, customers are taken for granted, the servers are rude, and the food lacks any form of quality.

I don't understand why there is usually a line-up here when there are better sushi restaurants not even two blocks away. If one is looking for consistency, your sushi portions and food would beg to differ. If one is looking for quality, you ought to know that the salmon sashimi you eat is farmed and frozen - the cheapest quality.

Sushi Garden became one of those restaurants where the food is made for the sake of making food. Flavour and presentation have long been thrown out the window. No longer does the kitchen staff make an effort to impress the patrons. Desire to showcase the food has long been overlooked and that, I find, is a tragedy on a culinary scale.

Some people might find Sushi Garden to be "irresistible" or "excellent" but I strongly believe it's because they haven't ventured out of their bubble. I understand some people fear change but once you know what good sushi is, it's a change you won't regret.

The only nice thing I can say about Sushi Garden is that it offers a variety of innovative rolls to Japanese cuisine. Nowadays, however, fusion food is no longer unprecedented.

Good place for cheap sushi rolls in the Metrotown area. Expect long waiting times during the peak hours. There is no one waiting to seat you in the entrance. You are expected to go to the cash register area in the back to put your name down on the list. The only place to seat while waiting is beside the window or stand around the entrance while ignorantly blocking people from leaving and entering.

Once you are seated, the food comes fast. The quality is not bad for the price. The rolls are quite big but tends to fall apart easily. The atlantic farmed salmon sashimi is large but the wild Alaskan sashimi is much smaller. It's not as tender as I hope but you get what you pay for as they say.

The service is bad as most people described but I come here for cheap sushi rolls and not for the service. Most of the waitress' are cute and pretty Asians. They seem to always ignore you and not at all attentive to customers' needs. They will never look you in the eye or smile. Beware of these sirens, just order then eat your sushi and leave.

Visited here last night - I've never felt so lucky to have had a table waiting for me! The lineup was fierce and those who were waiting in it were quite antsy. I didn't see what the fuss was about, though... my avocado roll had loads of avo in it, but it was overripe, and my vege udon was fairly flavourless with rubbery noodles.

I don't recommend this place for vegetarians - there wasn't anything interesting to choose from, just the usual, and I had to be really specific about no mayo, no roe, and no bonito, because they put mayo, fish flakes, and fish eggs on everything, apparently.

Cheap, though, which was nice, and an experience, if nothing else - the harried servers and desperately waiting patrons livened the experience up from my usual sushi eating.

Every time i pass by this place, its always busy... so the boys and i finally decided to see what the hoopla was about.  We must have waited at least 45 mins until we were seated.  We ordered the usual rolls, spicy tuna cone, salmon sashimi, etc...

The rolls were pretty huge and messy. i couldn't even hold it with my chopsticks., the veggies and crab fell right out of the rice., the tuna cone was soggyish, and the sashimi was aiight...

I think the only good thing was the price. but now i see why... *sigh* i guess people are just looking for a cheap, quick fill me up instead of good quality Japanese food..... sad..

We ate here for the first time last night - WOW.  Absolutely amazing sushi!  Worth the trip to Vancouver.  We ordered the tempura prawns, the deluxe assorted sashimi, the hamachi sashimi, a house roll, and sake - for three people it was only $54.  And we were STUFFED.  Not to mention, the food was amazing.  The fish was fresh and the portions were huge.  The wait time (8:30 on a Friday evening) was about 10 minutes, and the service was friendly and fast.  If we'd had time before our train, we would have gone back again today.  This will definitely become our new go-to sushi restaurant in Vancouver!

I've been by this place a ton, but never had the time to wait in their gigantic lineup until last night.

Atmosphere was a bit loud for me - we were lucky to be seated in the corner by the door, but I could hear the woman five tables away yelling out her order over the racket.

We ordered the the Alaska roll because of all the yelp recommendations and it was pretty okay, but why is there mayo with the avocado?

Definitely not a sushi place for vegans and maybe not the best for vegetarians either.

The fish was great though, super fresh and tasty.  I think I might try takeout next time and avoid the mediocre service and loud room.

A friend and I decided to catch up over sushi a few days ago and ended up at Sushi Garden. She had a craving for their chicken teriyaki rolls.

The inside is really nice and classy. Probably one of the more elegant looking sushi restaurants I've been in. (Hey, I never said I was classy!)

It was pretty busy but we managed to scoop a small table near the front window.

I ordered my usual - yam & avocado roll, with inari and miso soup. The yam & avocado roll isn't on the menu, but they were happy to make one up for me! I made sure to tell them NO tobiko on the rolls, as it said on the menu it came with the yam rolls unless specified otherwise.

The rolls were those massive kinds that I have to sit a moment and contemplate the subtle 'shove-in-mouth' strategy for first. No problem. As long as there isn't anyone looking, I'll ram that sucker in there. I mean, come on, you can't really just eat half of it. It'll break and turn into a giant mess.

One weird thing I noticed about the rolls that kinda irritated me was a few traces of tobiko. I specifically said NO tobiko. It was such a tiny amount though that I wasn't sure if maybe it was just a messy prep area and somehow a few little pieces snuck their way onto the rolls, or if they put it on by accident and then tried to wipe it off instead of just making a new roll. Either way, I picked it all off and didn't bother asking them to re-make it. I didn't feel like waiting when the rest of the food was already there. I also didn't really notice much avocado in the rolls... still tasty though.

All this and a can of soda for about $10 was pretty good!

Ordered takeout when over at sis-in-law's place because "this place is always busy".  When we went to pick up our order I could see what they meant.  The place was packed, the waiting area was packed, and there were many people waiting on the street.  Four doors down there was an empty sushi place, which really made me wonder "is this place really that good?"

After seeing all this i was super excited to see if it lived up to the hype.  We order regularly from a place called Samurai (on Cambie) that are known for their sashimi and roll sizes.  Sushi Garden have big rolls and sashimi, but slightly smaller than Samurai.

The highlight for me of the whole meal was a filet o fish roll.  Had never tried a roll like this and it tasted delicious.

So overall this place was decent, but I wouldn't go out of my way to order it again, I certainly wouldn't wait out on the street on a cold day to eat at this place.  PLENTY of options for decent sushi in Vancouver, we don't need to wait.

This place never disappoints. Their sushi is just amazing!  The sashimi is fresh, the nigiri is generously big and the sushi rolls are GINORMOUS!

The best part is everything is fresh. None of the fish is smelly or fishy or ill tasting, especially the raw tuna. I usually stay away from raw tuna because I've had too many gag induced episodes with it in various Japanese/ Asian restaurants, I don't even like canned tuna that much because as soon as you open the can you get dead fish smell bleh! But here, I can gobble up the raw tuna like there's no tomorrow, and that's saying something!

Everything is fairly inexpensive as well!

Definitely go here hungry so you can stuff your face with as much sushi goodness as possible, or else you'll just regret that you couldn't eat more since you decided to have a snack before going out because you were hungry!  Trust me you'll want to consume A LOT! Like me and a friend did today, we definitely produced "food babies" (stomachs that look preggers because of  the copious amounts of food consumed).

    Yummmmmmmmm :)

A bustling little sushi joint with high turnover across from Metrotown - super affordable.

We walked in around 9:15pm tonight, and our sushi nor service was great. The staff was efficient with our order and poured us tea continuously, but sent half our order to the wrong table. Though they were very gracious and kind about fixing this, we also had to flag them down for the bill.

I had 2 temaki (spicy tuna $3 and spicy chopped scallop $3.5) and shared an order of salmon sashimi (10 huge pieces, $8) with my girls. The temaki wasn't great, but the sashimi was dec.

One of my g/fs who's been there a few times before wasn't impressed this time 'round. It was my first time here; I just felt meh about it.

Excellent fish!  Some may be put off by large pieces but the quality can't be beat...

Service is friendly and reasonably fast considering the volume of orders.  Well worth the 30 minute wait

Sushi Garden used to be better I used to like them because they are a good deal (their chunks of fish are rather large compared to other sushi joints).

Service has never been really great (they forget to bring you tea sometimes and you might be able to win the lottery before they get around to refilling your cup of tea) and it is definitely a rushed dining experience.

But yesterday, when I went to sushi garden, the rice was definitely not cooked right. The center was a bit hard and dry (maybe they are too rushed and so can't do a good job anymore).

The rolls were also not wrapped tight enough so when they got to my plate everything was almost falling out.

To top that off, we never got our tea until our food came and we asked for it. They need more staff if they are so busy! Of course, they could also just do the smart thing and leave you a pot of tea if they are too busy with other stuff.

Overall, this was my least favorable experience I have ever had here. If I bother to come by again, I'll try to remember to review it.

Lots of maki, cheap maki, different maki, sadly not too tasty maki..
There are a lot of better sushi places...

Great place to have sushi if you're in the Metropolis area.  The place fills up every single freaking evening (lineup), and there's a reason.

There are a few parking spots in the back, but these are usually full if you come during regular meal times.

The sushi is fresh and tasty.  My only gripe is that the pieces are quite small, so I always leave hungry.  But if you are not one to stuff your face like there's no tomorrow, you'll find the portions quite reasonable.

The decor is all wood, with dark laminate (fake wood) tables.  Gives it that upscale look, without the upscale price.  WIth that said, this place does cost more than many other takeout places.

I'm a sushi fanatic, I mean I love sushi and have had sushi all around the world. So far, Sushi Garden tops my list. Portions are generous, salmon sashimi is served in thick delectable slices, service is prompt and efficient, an overall value-for-money meal... what else would you need in life?! Perhaps a branch in West End, please?

I will update my review should their standard be ever compromised. I hope not. Keep it up Sushi Garden!

Busy place you will wait whether you eat in or it's takeout.

Servers are robotic like, unfriendly...no time how can you blame them.

Sushi rolls are big! I recommend the dynamite roll and beef teriyaki, both very good. Good presentation!

Large menu; lots of choices. Prices not too bad, roughly $8 for 2 rolls, which because of their size will fill you.

Gets an extra star for beating the 2 sushi restaurants inside Metrotown mall. Go figure you have to go outside of the mall to get decent sushi.

Extra star for not being too cheap on the ginger and wasabi; most places skimp they certainly don't.

    Overall B+ passing grade.

Add a half star to the three I have rated, please and thank you.

Pro - The sushi are exceptionally large, and so is the salad
Con - The salad was swimming in the dressing
Pro - The menu is huge and has lots of variety
Con - I would have preferred the sashimi to be cooler in temperature but I have been told otherwise
Pro - Upbeat service and constant filling of teaT
    Pro - Reasonable Pricing
    Pro - Good Company

Thank goodness we didn't have to wait when we arrived after 5pm... and by the time we left - almost 7.. every waiting seat was taken.

I'm torn. What's more important: huge sashimi chunks or decent vegetarian sushi?

Well, this is the place to go if you want authenticity.  Great sashimi (great prices too!), very good traditional Japanese dishes.

But really not the place to go if you like your vegetarian sushi (yep, I'm weird).  At least, you'd better like mayonaise in your roll.  Call me a snob, but I really don't think mayo has any business in my sushi.  Ordering 6 vegetarian rolls to find that *every* one had mayo in it? (not listed on the menu...) Not really what I was looking for.

But the tuna sashimi? heaven.  And those slices are bigger than I've ever seen.

The redo of the decor is better than it was (it was looking like a cheap dner before), but they still are able to pack in and pack out the crowds like they always have done.

As others have indicated, the turnover here is pretty impressive to keep up with the big crowds of Metrotown shoppers/moviegoers waiting for their sushi fix. There was quite a big lineup of people in front of us when we came here on a busy Saturday night but we only waited about 20 min. The sushi itself was good and came quite quickly, especially when you saw all the takeout orders that the kitchen was also sending out. It wasn't the greatest sushi I've ever had, but it was very tasty. We tried the spicy chopped scallop roll, the futo maki roll and the veggie roll. The veggie roll had WAY too much mayo for my taste, so I wouldn't order that again, but that is probably more a matter of personal taste. They also provided a healthy portion of ginger, which always earns extra brownie points in my books. The prices are quite reasonable, too.

My only real issue is with service involving anything beyond ordering your food and your initial cup of tea. Be prepared to put in some effort catching a server's attention for a glass of water, napkins or refill on your beverage. But if you're in the neighbourhood, it's definitely a better option than what I have been told are less-than-stellar places in the same area.

I love the food here.  It gets to your table quickly and its super tasty.  Definitely my go to place for sushi if I'm around Metrotown.

For those that complain about the service and wait... well its kind of expected.  You go to asian restaurants for the food, not service, cus lets be honest, you don't can't expect the service quality like Bishops when you're dining at an asian restaurant.

I try not to sit and eat here because the service, as has been mentioned over and over in the reviews here, is really bad.  To the point where if you've been here more than once and are still complaining, I have no sympathy for you.  For the newbies, well you shoulda looked it up on Yelp and we coulda alerted you to what you were in for.
But in terms of the food, it's solid food.  Not fancy, not the best of the best...but solid.  I always order the seafood salad and it is always good.  I get plenty of seafood in my salad which is not always the case at other places.  The price is also great at $6.  I feel like I get great value for my money, but the one thing I make sure to do so that I remain happy is order it for take out, and then show up about 5 minutes after they recommend.  I never have to wait.
