Review from Lauren N.
I remember my mom brought me here once, it's a pretty cool store. She loves jade, and she loves things that are lucky and supposedly bring good fortune, so she came here a lot. The place is packed with jade, and lots of it. If I ever need a Buddha or jade fountain set, I'll probably stop by. My mom bought a jade disc in the shape of two fish in a circle, hanging on a red cord. It's supposed to bring really good fortune to the household. She loves it, and still has it hanging on her wall. Most items are affordable, but of course you'll be paying more for more substantial items, like a fountain. I'll most likely come here for gifts once Chinese New Year rolls around.

Review from Paula K.
Entering Superior is almost like going into an art gallery or museum. It is a huge gift shop in the heart of Chinatown full of small trinkets, from jade pendants to Buddha figurines, to household and personal items. I purchased a jade disc here on a red string and got a lot of compliments about it. A friend of mine got a package of chopsticks to practise with at home, as she was learning how to use them properly. Most of the items here are $10 or less and excellent gift ideas for people who collect curios.

Review from Jennifer P.
Edmonton, AB
This is China town's biggest gift shop, located just north of 106 Ave. on the northeast corner. It's open late, even on Sundays. The place is filled with lots of fun-to-look-at stuff, from hand-painted grinning Buddhas and jade elephants to ornate vases and pretty mosaic-patterned plant stands. They also had Chinese swords on the walls and a variety of good luck charms, hung superstitiously around the cash counter. Within the rows and shelves of Oriental objects were strange, out-of-place things like white-faced dollies, '80s-style fashion accessories and imitation designer fashion bags. A strange juxtaposition for China town.
