can't believe this used to be only a $1 a slice back in the day! now its 1.50 but still a great value
right across from joyce station.. usually has a line up.. some of my faves are there pesto and olives.. spicy beef.. feta cheese slices.. they're all simple and delicious! u can also get whole pizzas or a deal on a mix and match of like 7-8 slices. -

Walking by this place reminds me of the time when I was in New York.
The name kinda gives it a generic feel, but the pizza isnt that bad!
My niece wanted to get a whole pizza, but they had 7 slices for $9.99. whic is a great deal as their pizza is pretty thick on the crust side and on the topping side.
The place can get busy, but what do you expect with "sell by the slice" spot with a great taste and price? -

They can't quite claim to be both super and great, but one or the other descriptor completely suites their pizza. Their Super Great Pizza is thick yeasty crust, lots of mozzarella, and unique topping varieties of pesto, feta, chicken, and beef along with the usual varieties by the slice or in a whole pizza.
A bunch of friendly guys and gals cook it pretty much in the open, as in you can see their oven from the diner because it's so small. Theres an old table with a dozen chairs and a little window side booth, but they're pretty much guaranteed to be crowded. Good alternatives to these include several parks a block away or apparently the parking lot around corner.
Wherever you choose to eat your pizza is up to you, as are several free toppings for your slice, including Parmesan, chili flakes, hot sauce and some disturbingly warm ranch-ish dip. If you smother it with enough it'll just taste like toppings, dummy. And crust.
But yeah, the pizza is pretty mediocre. It's a little cheaper than uncle fatihs or megabytes but not as tasty. And they close early-ish. I dont know, try it if you're nearby and hungry. -

Their crust is thick American-style, which I don't like as much, but will do if I'm in the area. It's right across from Joyce Station, so, with lots of foot traffic, the slices are usually fresh.
I agree with Molly N. about the Ghetto-ness of the "decor" and "cleanliness".
Interac, but no credit card (they used to take Visa as well, but not anymore). -

Great pizza for the price. I don't think you can find a better cheap pizza place that tastes great.

I call this place "Ghetto Slice Pizza" and it took me a moment to remember the real name before I searched this, haha.
Ghetto Slice Pizza pretty much sums it up, though. The establishment is dirty cheap (emphasis on dirty), run down, and hot even in the winter. It's literally right across the street from the Joyce Skytrain station and the tables are always dirty.
But there's always a line. And the same staff has been working there for a long time now. And the pizzas taste so good. A lot of people I know prefer Megabite or Panago or Flying Wedge, but I can smile to myself about them knowing that when I pick up pizza to take home from Super Great Pizza, my pizza's twice as big, twice as tasty, and twice as cheap. 18" pizza for 12.99 and freshly made in front of my eyes. I'll take Ghetto Slice any day!
They also serve by the slice for super cheap (and super great!) prices as well.
Also, they do not deliver. -

The pizza by slice price is going up every time I go here, it is now $1.75 a slice, which isn't as much of a good value as it used to be when it was $1 not too long ago. Nonetheless the pizza are still fresh and delicious. The best deal would be order 10 slices or one jumbo 18" pizza for only $13. The ingredients are fresh and the base is thick, which is much better value to chain stores. I would definitely order a jumbo pizza that is fresh and hot out of the oven instead of by slice.

Great pizza, big slices. The service is a bit dull though

The pizza here is great! The prices are great! What else is there to ask for? Sure the place is kind of a dump but the pizza from there is well worth venturing in there! The slices are loaded with toppings and not to greasy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone passing by looking for a quick slice.
