I went here for the first time the other day and was blownaway by the Beds they have!.
I wasn't even in the best bed and the thing had face fans... mists that intermittedly misted me.... Aroma options and ........ it talked to me!
I ended up getting a VERY good deal (if you like their FB page and "check in" you get 2 sessions in their best bed for $25. The girl behind the counter said that it was usually about $40 for ONE session in the best bed they have.
all in all an awesome experience! -

I don't have enough good things to say about SunScape in Yaletown!
I've been a client for almost 3 years now, and I almost feel like a part of the family there. The already polite/friendly/helpful staff knows me by name and I always feel welcome and appreciated when I stop in. This chain is hands down my absolute favorite for tanning in Vancouver.
This location has 5 levels of tanning beds that will help just about anyone get a nice golden bronze tan in a short period of time. I am very pale/fair skinned, and I decided to go with the level 5 bed (also known as the high pressure) and started off with 9 minutes. Much to my surprise, I didn't burn! I noticed a difference the moment I hopped out of the bed. I've slowly worked my way up to the full 12 minutes and am happy to say I look natural and HEALTHY. No orange leathery look here.
Over all, I find that Sunscape is a little more pricey if you are looking to tan in the higher level beds. However the return on investment is unparalleled to me versus any other chain - the tanning results speak (and pay) for themselves! The Yaletown location also has the Beauty Angel line - although I've only used it once. Also, the salon is currently undergoing some renovations at the moment, (looking more and more fab by the day!) but this does not interrupt the amazing quality of service I've received. I will be sure to update and add to this portion of my review in future.

I bought a Groupon for Mystic Tan at SunScape and tried it for the first time over the weekend.
I had never been to a tanning studio before the lady behind the counter was very helpful and went over how to use the booth with me.
The room was clean. I was provided with a large and small towel, barrier cream (a lotion that prevents too much sunless tanner from soaking into hands, feet, elbows, and knees), and a disposable cap to cover your hair.
The spray tan was a lot quicker and drier than I expected; I didn't even really need to towel myself off once it was done. The colour developed over the next few hours, and, while some people might be able to tell it's a spray tan, it doesn't look too orange.
As I was leaving, the girl informed me of their membership options for the tanning beds and booths and UV-free spray tans as well as the lotions they have available without being pushy.
All in all, it was a good first experience in a tanning salon and I'll definitely be back if I want to try tanning again.Listed in: Yaletown's Beauty Row

Great options, prices, and services! Favorite tanning in the city.
There are 5 different levels (prices) of beds, and it's cheaper if you use a lower level one. (which for beginners is all you need.) Unlimited packages start at 20 dollars a month for unlimited basic beds, and If you want to try out a more expensive bed it's discounted about 20 percent from whatever it would normally cost to drop in.
I wanted a fast tan, so I signed up for a month unlimited in the level 5 high pressure bed (which is super awesome and high tech looking,) which ended up being like 200 once I bought lotion and googles too, but a week in I already look like a bronze goddess, so the indulgence was worth it :) -

If you're in Yaletown and are looking for great place to tan -- and by great I mean clean, good prices, prompt service and state-of-the-art equipment -- Sunscape Tanning in Yaletown is where it's at.
It was literally a block away from where I lived and my fave (when I cheered for the BC Lions) was the Mystic Tan! Since moving to Toronto, I haven't found a decently priced salon for Mystic Tan anywhere around....makes me appreciate Sunscape's pricing and their packages!
A must-visit...they even have a leg tanner! Woot! -

I LOVE SunScape! From the friendly and knowledgable staff, the moment you walk thru the door - to endless lotion and eyewear options - to an immaculately clean tanning bed and room - to multiple bed (stand up AND lay downs) and 'tanning level' options, SunScape is sure to 'WOW' anyone looking for a quality tanning salon.
With locations all over the lower mainland, SunScape is easily accessable by practically anyone.
I would (and always do) strongly recommend SunScape Tanning to everyone. -

It's very interesting that the negative reviews are always removed from this page. I've spoken with a few people in my building that all hate this place. I guess the owner knows the yelp organizer for this region. This place really sucks. The staff are extremely rude and they word the contracts in a way that makes them impossible to get out. This is a waste of time though as this review will be removed.

Sunscape is barnone the best tanning studio in the Lower Mainland. Great beds, great lotions, and excellent people. I highly recommend checking them out.
