First off, let me say 2 things.
1. I didn't actually eat here, so I'm not reviewing the food, only the service.
2. This is the only restaurant I've ever walked out of. And I'm generally very accomodating when it comes to service at busy restaurants.
So, to begin.
My wife and I went to Sundance to eat with a group of friends (9 people total). Because of what time I get off work, we got there later than everyone else, but we all knew that would happen, so everyone else ordered before we got there.
Once we arrived, we sat for about 10-15 minutes with no one offering us drinks or menus. I got up and grabbed menus, and the waitress eventually brought drinks for everyone else (with 2 of them being the wrong thing) and took our orders, but failed to ask what my wife wanted as a side. When she came back a few minutes later, I mentioned this and said that she wanted Sweet Potato Fries. She said the order was already in and that it was probably too late, but she'd try to change it.
About 10-15 minutes later, we still had no drinks, and everyone else had their food. I mentioned this to the waitress, and she said she'd get them right away. She asked if we had ordered Diet Pepsi, and we said that we wanted regular Pepsi. When the drinks finally came 20 minutes later, it was Diet Pepsi. Oddly enough, one of our friends (whodrinks Diet Pepsi) had ordered Sprite and gotten regular Pepsi, so my wife traded with him.
About an hour after we had arrived, we had received 2 drinks (of the wrong kind) and no food. Our friends were paying as several of them had to be somewhere, so we let the waitress know that we were cancelling our order. Apparently we weren't the first that night, as we overheard her talking to another waitress about at least one other table who had just gotten up and left without saying anything.
From what we saw of the food, it looked decent but nothing spectacular. If our friends want to go back, we'll go with them, but my wife and I don't plan on giving them a second chance on our own.
