Review from Shanta' R.
I Am a dancer for a pretty awesome company they have us stationed in Toronto for a period of time. After two weeks of rehearsals and training every day I couldn't lift my left arm. My neck and back were also extremely sore! I chose not to use the doctor they provide I did not want it written up so I opted to search for massage and acupuncture. Thankfully I came across Raymond. He was amazing he knew where to touch and press and massage and exactly where to put the needles (painlessly I hate needles). It was a miracle to me because I could lift my arm again and haven't felt any pain in it yet! I waited two weeks have had rehearsals daily and now it's time to go back for some more work! He is wonderful!!!

I've been here twice now for back massages (half hour, and one hour), and I only have praise for it. It is certainly not the usual tui na that a New Yorker would be used to - it is a real workout.
Raymond is extremely knowledgeable and knows where to pinpoint the source of the pain. I've never had to take up an appointment, and there is usually some availability for walk-ins although the full hour may not always be possible should you do so. In any case, Raymond does his best to accommodate you.
If you are looking for frou-frou massages, this place certainly isn't for you. However, if you are looking to relieve the stress and knots in your back, this is the place to go. -

I am a sufferer of chronic back, neck, shoulder, glute, thigh, calf, foot and butt pains and I dabble in various types of physical therapy and relief around the city (spa treatments, yoga, the gym, self medication.....), so I ventured into Chinatown, seeking further relief, after a great and affordable experience at a clinic in Chinatown in NYC.
This place isn't for princesses or the faint of heart. As soon as I entered the clinic, I was guided into a tiny room and was instructed to lay on a small cot. I decided to receive the Thai Stretch Treatment. The guy (I didn't catch his name) used his feet all over my back. He pulled my body into different directions. He jabbed every single pressure point on my body. A lot of popping and cracking was heard. He also pinched some area in my underarm and it triggered a weird sensation in my neck. I whimpered a lot.
When I still complained of pain in my neck, he lead me into this other room with a neck strap thing, in which I was locked into and he then tugged upward. I genuinely thought "This is it. It's over."
Regardless of my fears, he knew exactly what he was doing and was quite skilled in the art of relieving tension and moving the energy around. I plan on returning for a more "gentle" treatment.
Check out the website for the types of treatments you can get. And the prices are quite good! If you say you found the clinic through Yelp, you get 10% off!!!!!!!Listed in: Sweet Relief

I come here regularly,a s does my parents. Raymond helps fix all our problems from low back pain to joint problems and the stiffness in my neck. The first time I came here was to get a Foot Massage, which was amazing and good price ($30).
I complained about back pain and he looked at my spine and said that it was misaligned. He then lied me down and with a couple of moves and a crack back into place I haven't had that same back pain since. And then I kept returning for acupuncture and other tune ups to my body.
He's super informative and has information cards on everything. Don't be afraid to ask why, or mention things that hurt. Speaks fairly good english, which is rare in chinatown.
They take debit and cash. And also offer receipts for Acupuncture, Osteopathy and RMT upon request.
Tip: call ahead, and try to book ahead of time. Raymond will arrange for other girls to come and help out when he can.Listed in: Personal Maintenance

I went to this place for a Foot Reflexology massage, but they also offer full body reflexology, aromatherapy massage, accupressure, mani/pedis, and facial massages.
I stopped in this place after walking around all day in the Chinatown/Kensington area, and my feet and legs and back were pretty sore. Raymond administered mine. He was nice and young and friendly, but the place wasn't as "health department" clean as I would have preferred. I stayed anyway, and had a very relaxing massage after a nice and hot foot soak in special herbs. $25 for the best foot massage I have ever had. When I left, I felt like I could walk another 5 miles. -

Have been here three or four times over the last few years for his foot massages and I also had a facial treatment once. All of which make you feel completely rejuvenated! He is so knowledgeable and provides so much insight into your body it's unbelievable. Watch as the pressure points in your feet provide a picture of your overall health. Today I also had acupuncture done for the first time -such a breeze! I've always been scared of needles but there was no pain and I'm going back in 2 days for another treatment
Highly recommended!!
