Style Lab is an awesome hair salon located just outside of Yaletown. I've been going there for over a year now and I have to say that I love my stylist Chris. We've now gone three completely different colours and each time Chris has done an amazing job. If you go here, make sure you ask for him!
It's a totally friendly and unpretentious unlike most of the other salons that I've gone to in Yaletown. Also, the price can't be beat. On average, I pay $100 less than other salons I've been to recently for highlights and a cut. You have to like dogs though, as they've got two salon dogs and they don't mind if you bring yours to your appointment as well.
The only reason that I don't give them a 5 is that it is cash only. There is an ATM next door at DIX or across the street at 7 11, but it's really inconvenient when you'd like to pay with credit card.Listed in: Yaletown

Husband has been coming here for a couple months to see James, and I've spoken with him on the phone. He's been getting the best haircuts of his life and I'm super pleased too! He even commented on how nice the scalp massages are, big deal for a guy! Hah!

Annoying is the best way to put this place, it should be called Colour Lab and it smells as such, toxic would be a better word. On top of that there are two yapping dogs that never shutup. I would rather get my hair done on the street that return here.
