I think I was about 12 years old the last time I got a manicure, but my fabulous bridesmaids decided that manicures would be the first stop on a whirlwind weekend of stagette and bridal shower madness.
Studio J, located right on Jasper Avenue, is in a great location, although it's easy to breeze right past if you're in a hurry. But don't! It's very, very worth it to come inside.
The nice girls of Studio J made us a pot of tea and dove right into a very thorough session of nail pampering (the one-hour manicure). They set the four of us up at a long (marble?) table to soak us, massage us, and paint us pretty. The four manicurists were very friendly, and the 8 of us felt like old friends by the end of the hour.
Studio J's polish colour selection is fabulous. I guarantee you can find a shade that you'll love, no matter how picky! The entire space is gorgeous, with fuschia walls contrasted against white and cream.
I was very impressed with the entire experience and would definitely come back for another manicure. I think I'm officially a manicure convert - but only for Studio J! -

I returned Friday February 18th for a massage service. I let Kristy know to go easy as I had been in an accident earlier in the month. She asked a bit about that and then suggested a mix of massage with reflexology. Perfecto! It was just the perfect mix. It felt amazing. Bed was very comfortable as well. Soft music, candles, lovely smell, bed is kept warm. Oh, just so yummy! lol
Kristy is the epitome of professionalism. She put me at ease immediately. She is quite knowledgeable and interesting to talk with. It was a wonderful experience, overall.
I also love their waiting room. They have this gorgeous vase with fish swimming about. Fish's name is Jimmy.So cute!!! I love the refreshing cucumber water offered. I love how they have little treats for you to snack on, like the pretzels and Werthers! Yummy.
