Review from Maria F.
I used to come to this place while it was still called Overtime, and several times after it has been renamed into Stir Club. This place is rather upscale due to the fact that is a popular night club among people of certain age. There aren't any teenagers here; only the crowd consisting of folk aged 25 and up. The lounge section is nice, and offers ample seating. Dance floor is rather tiny. I like the music here; it differs from other Edmonton clubs. All ladies who come here without male companions can expect to be approached multiple times throughout the night. There are lots of middle-aged single men here. Being watched and judged while you dance gets really annoying, that is why Overtime is definitely not on my list of favorite night clubs.

Review from Jennifer P.
Edmonton, AB
Stir is the new Overtime. Whatever. Itâs pretty much the same place, give or take a few minor changes. The dance floorâs got exciting new lights that make it look like a cross between Twister and a human Merlin game. There are also new table clothes on the bar tables, which adds a more upscale touch. But the space is the same as always, with a lounge section for slipping away from the busyness or for âbusiness,â or more intimate conversation; and then thereâs the giant front patio, dominated by smokers and futile fresh air seekers. Thereâs a cover charge here of $5, which seems like a rip-off. I donât agree with covers at all, unless itâs going towards paying a band. Places like this are a money machine. Theyâre a fun place for a group event, such as a stagette, and an interesting place to people watch. A lot of desperate male folk here. The dance floor is like a stage or t.v., everyone who isnât engaged is transfixed, and some dancers are truly âin the zoneâ while others are self-consciously performing for idle eyes.
