I love going to Sticky Fingers. The wings and ribs are great and they have some of the best live bands in central Ontario.
Tuesday is jam night with Kelly Davies, a local favourite.
Thursday is Carey Worrod, who plays blues as though he were an old grizzled veteran. Fridays and Saturdays are a mix of live bands, from Classic Rock covers to Blues.
I bring my social club there a couple of times a month, and we always have the best time. -

After an exhausting day or ziplining and climbing, we all needed a pick-me-up meal to stop from killing each other on the car ride home. We found Sticky Fingers on a website stating it was one of Barrie's best or most popular restaurants... HUH? this joint?
I enjoy pub food almost as much as any type of food. Burgers, fries, nachos, that's my type of food. I was excited about Sticky Fingers because apparently they had deep fried pickles. That sounds just wrong, but it's something wrong that I would have liked to try.
We arrived around 5pm, the place was rather empty. it looked like they were getting ready to set up for some stage entertainment up front. The menu had typical bar/pub fare, except for maybe the addition of pasta to the menu. The deep fried pickles were $6.50 for 6 pickles, which the lady described as "they taste like warm pickles". Needless to say, we passed.
I ordered the veggie burger which was pretty good, until I got near the sides of the burger patty. It tasted a little funny, mildly resembling moth balls. not pleasant. Their fries were an odd crinkly-groovy shape, they were pretty good as well.
I can definitely say, I've had better pub food. The prices were reasonable, but not overly cheap (c'mon it's Barrie)! Worth a try, if anyone tries the pickles, let me know how they taste! -

Well after many grueling months at sea I spotted a blinking light! "Land Ho!" I yelled. Well actually I live just down the road for this Restaurant and decided we had to eat there after my friend told me he wanted to eat at that "Stinky Finger" restaurant.
The place inside is a moderate size with lots of room to sit. They have a good selection of Beer which should please all but the pickiest. I myself have only ever ordered the Wings here and they are quite good. The sauces are all very good. Each order of wings comes with fries and vegetables. While this may anger the "meatatarian" I welcome some diversity to my basket of chow.
All in all a good place to dine especially if it is Wednesday as the wings are 1/2 price.
