When the restaurant sign went up, I looked at the yelp reviews of the Richmond location to see what this place was all about. Lots of rave reviews so I had to try the Cambie Village version.
PIzza is my weakness, I could eat it 7 days a week.
Steveston pizza is a little on the expensive side ($23 for our large), so I expecting something unique and of high quality. I wasn't dissappointed. We went out on a limb and ordered the Japanese - which is teriyaki chicken, enoki mushrooms, creamed wasabe, brie and sesame seaweed. It was DELICIOUS, we stuffed ourselved and could've finished the whole large, but just physically couldn't. Best to save a few pieces for leftovers anyways.
The crust is excellent, not too heavy, not too light..just right. The pizza was perfectly seasoned, with all of those different ingredients that all meshed together to make a perfect, unique taste. The pizza wasn't overloaded with toppings, they put what i thought was just the right amount of everything.
I can't wait to try their other pizzas. -

Really? What's the point in writing yet another fabulous review about this place. Okay, they could use a few tables and a wine list but they really don't need it. This place has the best pizza in the world....and yes, I've travelled all through lovely Italia but the luxurious combination of toppings at Steveston pizza makes me want to weep. And where else has a pizza for $450?? I've read people moaning about the prices but that seems to be the norm in Canada. I'm happy as larry to pay for the quality this place provides. And, most importantly, consistency. Get a bottle of red, order a delivery and have an amazing eveing in.
