By far the best damn pizza available in Richmond (or Vancouver as far as I know).
A 'hole in the wall' restaurant that is completely take out. No sit down and no delivery, yet they are constantly churning out pizzas. They have wonderful selections and choices. I've never been disappointed. -

Looking for pizza hut? LUCKILY...You've knocked on the wrong door! Steveston Pizza Company serves delectably, delicious, and different pies!
Their unique names for all their pizza says it all. I was a little bit nervous with ordering a few of them.. but all the pizza's i've tried from here, has impressed me! The latest one i've tried is their JAPANESE pizza. teriyaki chicken, enoki mushroom, seaweed and wasabe cream? hmm I'm not a big fan of wasabi.. but but but.. they were friendly enough to do a half half. Half wasabe cream and half without. Save yourself the trouble.. and just wasabe it all up! SOO SCRUMPTIOUS.. and the wasabi flavor.. not so much there. Everyone prefered the slices with wasabe!!
TIP: NO indoor seating.. so take your pizza box, walk across the street, and grab a picnic table or blanket to sit on the grass. We even went there during the winter. Straight out of the oven hot pizza.. is DELICOUS during the winter, and Soul warming in the snow!!
One star down -
Just because they are super popular, they should have a specific opening hour. I believe I read somewhere that they opened at 11AM, wanted to order, but they said to come back in 30 minutes.. oh well, if you're still around at that time, the pizza IS worth the wait. -

After a quick drop in at Steveston Pizza, I've finally cemented myself under the category of "esoteric foodie" as defined by a feature in the Globe and Mail, "6 signs that you maybe a food idiot". The more expensive, rare and elitist the ingredient, the more turned on I become, apparently. Particularly on the humble pizza. Who knew? So in honour of this recently confirmed discovery about myself, I've decided to write a review in a bastardized haiku format, just to reiterate my temporary pizza snobbery.
Lucky enough to try
On blood relative's dining table
Caveman (pepperoni, genoa salami, back bacon, lean beef and capocolli); and
Hawaiian (black forest ham, pineapple)
both pretty flavourful.
Real knockouts, a week after
Hanging out at same blood relative's
dining table
Earth (Brie, gouda, camembert, oven-dried tomatoes, roasted garlic and enoki mushrooms)
Black (Honey glazed chicken breast, fig, gorgonzola and mascarpone mousse, walnuts and arugula julienne); and
Mist (Smoked salmon, crab, scallions and truffle infused tomatoes)
Out of this world
Had me at enoki, mousse and truffle

Love their pizza here! Thin crust with a selection of delicious toppings.
They are so creative with their assortments of pizza. It is so difficult to decide which one to order.
I've tried their Japanese, C3, Water and Wind. They all tasted appetizing!
Not a place to eat in. Pre-order then pick up! -

OK It's still the best if you want to enjoy a creative masterwork of Pizza.
Not the slop it together pizza's, but also not the handmade and tossed in the air pizza's either. Regardless of this lack of artisan mastery that is rarely seen in a pizzaria these days, theri pizza's still reign supreme in Richmond.
You're paying more, but you get much more in flavour and quality.
So for me. #1 in Steveston for Pizza!!! When I have the hankering.Listed in: Steveston Village, Pizza in Steveston

A+A+A+A+A+A+ Gourmet pizza!!!!!!!
This guy knows how to make Pizza like no other. He doesn't make the same old Ho-Hum run of the mill Ham and Pineapple or Meat Pizzas. He Creates Pizzas you'd never think of. He is the true pizza artist that all others should be judged by.
The ingredients are very high in quality and very tasty. We have been going to pick up pizza for three years plus from this place and hope he never retires.
The only down side is you can't eat in and it's only take out with no delivery service. He has a product that is head and shoulders above any pizza you have ever tried and he knows it .
I love the Green or the Fire or for a real treat try the C4.
Can't say enough about this place.
Pros:
Worlds Best Pizza
Super Creative menu
Fresh high quality ingredients
Fresh not frozen crust
Fast Service
Did I say it's the best?
Cons:
No dine in seating .
No delivery.
I hear he is opening another location in White Rock?? -

I have hesitated to review this because it just keeps getting busier and busier and I didn't want to do anything to perpetuate their reputation, but I'm going to because they deserve it. Besides, I order a couple of hours in advance now and it is always ready at the arranged time. If you walk in off the street, be prepared for a wait and don't expect a table because there aren't any-just a couple of window seats.
Before we discovered Steveston Pizza, we'd eat pizza maybe twice a year and then always wondered why we didn't remember that we didn't like pizza. Now we get 1 or 2 of these sensations a month. So far this isn't one pizza on their menu that we didn't think was great although we seem to keep ordering the "Japanese" more than any other. Fast, efficient, delicious with reasonable prices will keep me coming back there as long as I live in Steveston and even if I had to drive a few km, it would still be worth it. -

Mmmm pizza, how I love thee. We ordered two pizzas from here ( the Margarite Four with smoked salmon and the 5th Element sesame crusted pizza with brie) And wow they were both delicious.
I really like how the pizzas were not greasy at all and the ingredients were fresh. I'm always a little hesitant to order fish on pizza and didn't know what the expect but the smoked salmon was so fresh and so good. I like the thin crust and enjoyed the sesame crust very much.
I'd definitely come back here to try out more flavours. -

Pizzas that doesn't cause the great divide between the sexes.
As my boyfriend likes to order greasy delivery pizza with mystery toppings and rubbery cheese, we are more than delighted to discover pizza that actually use fresh ingredients and have creative toppings to booth and zillions of options.
Don't expect copious amount of gooey cheese, but a good amount of more quality ingredients.
If only they can make the chicken breast less dry and offer delivery... But those are minor glitches that are easily compensated by the fact that I actually crave the same pizza as my partner in crime. -

Definitely gourmet pizza!
We ordered take out after a long day of snowboard up at Cypress. We really wanted delivery, but the pizzas looked interesting and we hear it was good so we tried it.
We had the Canadian pizza and the the Caveman Pizza, so Canadian Caveman! In honor of my boyfriend's birthday! They definitely do not skimp on the toppings. Both pizzas had bacon and each was covered in a 1 cm thick layer of it!
I would definitely like to try some of their more adventurous toppings like enoki mushrooms! I love the creative names of the pizzas. The only thing I would complain about it that they don't deliver! -

I love this pizza.
Fresh ingredients combined into creative combinations and even poetry on the take-out menu. Anything we've had, pizza, lasagna or salad has been top notch.
Nader runs a completely class act - I actually heard him take a counter employee aside and COMPLIMENT her on the great job she did with the customer in front of me. I was amazed (and I think so was she).
This place is tiny - really its 100% take out (4-10 Tues to Sunday) and it's really popular but if you do have to wait it's well worth it. -
Review from Katie F.
Where do you go if you want pizza that is fresh and funky? Steveston Pizza Company of course!
This place is tiny but constantly busy - it's the best pizza place in Richmond for sure and probably one of the best in the lower mainland. Incredibly fresh ingredients and some very unique combos and funky names to go along with them, like Fire, Earth, Mist, etc...
So why only 4 stars then? I guess pizza is one of those things where everyone has their preferences. It's a 5* for sure from my hubby, but I like my crusts thinner and crisper and they put use a bit too much cheese for me.
Definitely a solid place that lives up to its reputation. -

Steveston Pizza Co. doesn't offer delivery, but I don't care because I live close by. I was a little disappointed they wouldn't split a pizza in two flavours, but no big deal. The menu is so completely unlike any other I've ever read. Truly creative.
The Mediterranean came on a crisp, thin crust. It was loaded with olives, super fresh feta cheese and loose, fresh herbs on top. It was still delicious eaten cold the next morning. Because I misread the menu, I expected sun-dried not oven-dried tomatoes. My fault, not theirs.
Steveston Pizza Co. is a legend, and the rumours are true - they offer fabulous gourmet pizza. -
Review from Vincci L.
Gourmet pizza at its best!! Been visiting this place for about 2 years now, and it never disappoints. A fresh take on the regular pizza, combining gourmet ingredients to produce unique combinations.
Looking at the pizza menu choices makes me salivate. It consists of elaborate pizzas, with toppings that you wouldn't find on the pizzas. . Leave yourself some time to read through their menu-catergorized into Elements (water, fire, earth, wind, the 5th element), Parallel World, Journeys (globally inspired pizzas), Margarite Tree, Life, Colors, Shades, and C pizzas, they must have 50 different types of pizza. One is sure to find something they like!
The first one I've ever tried was the Earth pizza, and it's been my favourite ever since. Brie, gouda, camembert, over dried tomatoes, roasted garlic and enoki mushrooms!!!! This is really the best thing ever!
I also like the Water pizza-shrimp, snow crab, and basil pesto. Simple ingredients, but goes so well together. Lots of fresh shrimp too. French-chicken breast, mushroom, white onion asparagus and single cream brie with a light pesto drizzle. Another excellent combination. Another favourite is the Mexican pizza. The owner/chef took it off the menu for a while, but he was still nice enough to make it for me. Consisting of Baha seasoned chicken breast, green peppers and onion, with a tomato, lime, scallion and cilantro salsa. The salsa is fresh and flavourful, and doesn't overpower the pizza.Combined with the large chunks of baha seasoned chicken, this is another great one to try. For you meatlovers, get the Caveman. It's really loaded with meats, and very very delicious. The Japanese pizza is also good. Wasabe-scented teriyaki chicken breast, enoki mushrooms, hokkaido camembert and sesame seaweed julienne (no tomato sauce). Everyone should try camembert on pizzas! The crusts on these pizzas are relatively thin, but not too thin in that they're crispy. it's just thick enough to hold up the ingredients, and never too thick. Ingredients are always fresh. and the chef never skimps on the toppings. I could go on and on about my other favourites (seriously, I can write an essay on them), but these are probably my top choices.
I still have to try their C pizzas, which are even more gourmet pizzas- tiger prawns, duck confit, braised tenderloin.....!!! Still contemplating the $28 price tag though...
Their bocconcini & tomato salad is also awesome. A good portion too. Large slices of bocconcini and tomatoes on a bed or organic greens, with a balsamic reduction. It's a meal in itself, but when you're here, you have tol order a pizza to go along with it.
Call ahead, as they're always busy. They'll always give you the exact ETA (about 25 minutes), and it's always ready when I arrive. No delivery, but I can't complain, since it's also in Richmond. I've once seen people that have come out from Coquitlam to try this place out after hearing about the place! Can't wait to eat some Mexican pizza tonight!Listed in: ROTDs!

The pizza here is awesome. I don't think I've had fresher toppings on pizza before coming here. It's not exactly traditional pizza 'cause the toppings are really different. Smoked salmon on pizza? Good stuff. But I'm a carnivore so I usually get the "Caveman", the pizza for meat lovers. I get one at least twice a month.

I ordered the Orange, which was one of the best, or maybe the best pizza I've ever had! Outstanding quality, taste, and value, piled high with fresh, absolutely delicious toppings! Steveston Pizza is mandatory for all pizza lovers.
This is a take-out only establishment. -

This as "gourmet" a pizza as you will get anywhere in the greater Vancouver area and we have it here in our back yard.
There was a write up in the local papers sometime ago about the owner working corporate and having a vision to make a perfect pizza with quality and soul in mind. Well my friend -- you have done it! Bravo!
Quality ingredients and a touch of soul gives this pizza a big bang for its buck. I would recommend a "petite" or small pizza for a three person snack or a two person feast. Don't even try to compare Flying Wedge, Pizza Hut or Domino's to this pizza company. Steveston Pizza does not want to fill you up with half cook crust -- never!
With salad, lasagna, and pizza with taste full combinations of fresh meats and veggies aka as Fire, Caveman, The 5th. Element, Mist and Harmony that include pimento peppers, Genoa, basil kissed tomatoes, and smoked salmon -- you cant go wrong!
You might wanna indulge yourself with a little between the sheets (get your mind outta the gutter) aka seafood or veal lasagna if pizza is not your thing for tonight. Try the Bocconcini & Tomato salad the dressing is soul satisfying.
We ordered a "petite" Mexican tonight for the two of us and it totally hit the spot! Dinner done!
They get my business regularly! You should check it out - pick up only - 4pm till 10pm Sunday - Thursday. -

This place defines 5 stars on Yelp! Best pizza I have ever eaten - including Italy. Try the Italian. I guarantee you will love it. Hot, fresh, and incredibly tasty. We also ordered the "Earth" pizza. The tomatoes were really tasty. Attention to detail in ingredients and presentation add to the experience. Enjoy!

their pizza is very good... i've tried the Caveman... it's quite meaty, but not as meaty as Flying Wedge... maybe it's coz of that reason that i haven't gone back, but don't get me wrong, their pizza is very delicious...
