Good golly these ladies pop out burritos fast.
Prompt service, not ever super busy, ample seating. Quality food for the time it takes to prepare. I would say it is more on the pricey side. I usually get the Tommy with chicken, then plus a drink you're looking at $13. It is a nice treat once in a while if you're willing to shell out the cash and intake the calories. -

Stopped in here today in desperate need of nutrition. Selected a burrito from their limited vegetarian options while the amount of food for the price was good it was all very bland.
Vegetarian food doesn't need to be quite so dull, you can throw a little spice in it. The only thing that had any flavor was the salsa. In fact the guacamole was so bland I didn't even know it was there until I looked.
The cashier serving me also kinda brushed me off to give one of their regulars the VIP treatment, that was a little rude...fortunately i don't plan on becoming a regular so I wasn't too hurt by her disregarding me the second she had my money in her hands. -

Vancouver's not known for the most authentic Burrito, and Steamrollers isn't an exception. But if you want the illusion of a burrito, and be healthy? Then Steamrollers is your best bet!
I love that they make it with whole wheat flour, brown rice, and will put your dressings on the side. That stuff packs on the calories if you're not careful! The little Filipino ladies behind the counter were absolutely adorable, awesome service. -

Sometimes, I am real good and actually go out and get HEALTHY fast food! I live in Vancouver, OF COURSE that exists out here!
This is especially great for the fitness on the go population...you have your delicious steamed wrap with all its nutritious goodness in a tightly packed foil wrap that you can eat in one hand while you fly out the door, yoga-mat in other hand and heart rate monitor racing!
Ive tried both the chicken and shredded beef brisket wraps, both very tasty and flavourful. That's the great thing about steam, none of the natural goodness of the ingredients is compromised and oily heavy sauces aren't even needed for taste! (they have salsa, guacamole and garlic yogurt sauce that they use--all very fresh and healthy)
For those who like it WET (is that dirty?? Well, its THEIR LINE, not mine!!), you can get the wet rollers..they are the same great wraps just drenched in a mole, tortilla or tomatillo soup. And yes, I have tried all soups (except the tortilla soup)...very very yum. Unfortunately, you gotta sit down to eat these with a knife and fork...unless you don't mind slimey hands and probably a slightly soaked shirt afterwards. But drink up that soup baby! Don't let any of it go to waste!! -

The burritos sold here are a good size with decent amount of fillings. It seems like the only way I can make the burritos tasty is by putting the hot sauce. Pretty healthy if they're light on the sauce.

By far my favorite lunch!!! Very filling and somewhat good for you. Chicken Frisco would be my recommendation....mmmm soooo good!! Usually pretty quick with getting your food as well.

Fast, clean and almost tasty. The staff struggle with any special requests or substitutions. Its a far cry from the original in Yaletown 10 years ago, but still a quick healthy meal.

it's a "healthy burrito, boring but does the job when you're hungry. Wet is best as they're a bit dry otherwise. The Tommy is not bad, meat and rice and veg wrapped in a tortilla topped with green tomatillo saue. Too much rice for my carnivore taste so I get it with some beans thrown in or extra meat.. its not authentic or particularly flavorful but if you want something that doesn't break the back or give you a heart attack this is the joint.
