friendly staff!!! i like when people remember your order and ask how ur day is going. they are not robots at this one!
line can get busy right in the am- but that sorta comes with the name starbucks.
my fav drink is the chocolate vivano- yum!! -

Pretty sterile and huge but fits the bill when you need to wait in line at Shaw for hours on end. And if you happen to be reading this in the next 20 minutes, note that Shaw is actually open today and the lines are non-existant. Would have been nice of them to let their customers know, right? But I'm no longer a customer, thank god.
Comfy chairs, and reliable, delicious non-fat mochas which are perfect for taking on your rainy-day walk. If you're craving something sweet and don't want the calories of a pastry, this is my go-to treat. I don't care what anyone says, but the mochas at SB are pretty tasty compared to most.
Then you can walk around the water and marvel at the beauty of the city--but don't forget your umbrella and be prepared to dodge the "regulars" harassing the elderly and tourists for change.Listed in: Starbucks

Deep in the business district of downtown, next to the 2010 Olympic Convention Center is one of the greatest Starbucks ever found.
What makes it great isn't the friendly staff that works at the location but the location itself.
The full starbucks is tucked inside of Shaw Tower itself and this is where this location shines. Next to the retail center the Starbucks has what you have come to expect from a Starbucks, coffee and coffee drinks. There is some simple seating available which faces the wall of TVs next to the Shaw retail center. Under these TVs are a few phones that anyone can call anywhere in North America for free using the Shaw phone service. Call anywhere talk as long as you want.
There is also a computer with net access next to the phone's.
Coffee + TV + Free phone calls + Free Internet = Win Win
So come in, order a coffee, call the parents, update your yelp and if you're there at the right time of day you might see a celeb or two coming or going from the TV studio that's next to the retail center.
