First thing you notice about this Starbucks is extremely high ceilings that give you an airy and open feel. The store itself isn't that spacious. To be honest, it is a bit tight. But thanks to the high ceilings and choice of light-colored furnitures+trimming accents, it gives you an illusion of uncluttered and open atmosphere. The store is cozy and inviting. There are decent amounts of decorative details like paintings and lamps to give it a warm vibe. Interestingly, Starbucks didn't do anything about the large roll-up garage door for cargo entrance. I believe this Starbucks was a factory before...? Somehow it doesn't go really well with the traditional decor of the store since the garage door screams modern and chic - something you might find in Libertyville.

The interior is very calm and quiet. It seems like a nice place to study. But there are only several small tables in the store. So spreading out your laptop, lecture notes and textbook can be an issue. There also is a bar table that can seat 4-5 people. Power outlets are only available around bar table. Overall, it seems like a good place to concentrate on your studying. It feels pretty much secluded from the surroundings. And it doesn't feel too boring either. If you get hungry, there is a Boston Pizza, Wild Wing and a McD a couple of minutes away from this Starbucks.

What's interesting about this plaza is that it turned into a hang-out zone in like 2-3 years. I don't remember what was here before, but I believe it wasn't anything memorable. All these are located in an unlikely place - right in the middle of industrial area with lots of factories and offices. There are now LCBO, some banks, CorningWare, Shoppers Drug Mart, etc. Good to see a new plaza growing up quickly and attracting customers.
