This is one of Vancouver's best SB!

    Pros:

    1. Always reading material even if some is old and usually only the free/automobile pages.

    2. Quick lines, any time of day.

    3. Moderately Clean

    4. Comfy seating area, good for working. Seating outside, too, but that's only for sunny days, so don't bother. Can be windy at that spot, though.

    5. Almost always get free parking; if not, you can park next door and hope not to be towed.

    6. Safety; there are almost always police working/drinking in there. They drink coffee and eat Chinese food, people, not doughnuts (in case you were wondering). Just as long as your insurance is up to date and you're not doing anything illegal, you are fine. :)

    7. The only place where they gave me TWO Caramel Via samples (and in a friendly way, too).

When I am driving from dt, I always stop here for these reasons!

Why shouldn't my 99th FTR be a chain that I've never written a review about (and likely won't write about again)?

Sure, I carry around my worn out, purple Starbucks branded traveler mug, perpetuating their branding, while a lovely americano brewed with love from Wicked steams beneath. But you should see how long it manages to keep my hot drinks hot for--hours upon hours I tell ya!

But actually going to Starbucks? In recent years, that only happens when someone else suggests it for a meeting and even then I resist. But this one was convenient, it has free parking (if you can get a spot in the nightmare of a parking lot, with all of it's silly signs reserving each stall for various businesses), and of course, it's October... there's Pumpkin Spice Lattes to be had!

The staff are boring, the atmosphere is generic and I know that there's very little barista love going into my drink - but that fricking pumpkin spice latte - I have to admit - it was good! (hence an a-ok rating)
