This Star is BYOB and located in a humble setting that was once a local diner in Pointe St-Charles, near the Charlevoix metro. The dishes are made on the spot using fresh ingredients, with just the spices you like. I happen to love the fiery but there are plenty of mild dishes for the tamer palates. I recommened the beef dansak, okra, and pasanda which are delicious, using a lovely mixture of spices including cinnamon and cardamom. And the naan bread is amazing. It all goes down well with a cold beer.
The service is fast, pleasant, and the meat is halal.
The restaurant is usually quiet and the prices are more than reasonable (a full dinner for two with onion bhaji, naan, rice and two main courses for $30). -
