Whitby, ON
2 stars...
Its an average place with average food and average service.
No real complaints. But like previous poster mentioned it not "juicy" or anything wonderful to mention.
We had wing/rib combo and did find ribs dry but nothing horrible.
(Didn't really care for the "peel top" dipping sauce, seemed too pre fab for me.) And be be prepared to pay extra if you or you guest would like a side sauce.
Sadly for most Whitby/Brooklin doesn't really have "great" wings. -

This is sort of a sad review for me to write. Years ago, when I still lived in the city I would go to their location at Yonge and Davisville. It was the best. The beer was cold, the wings were exceptional and the vibe and energy of the place was great. I was there all the time and when friends would visit, you could guarantee that you'd hear me say "you gotta tries these wings".
So as a fan, I went into the Whitby location with fairly high expectations. Unfortunately, I was terribly disappointed. The first thing that strikes you is the atmosphere - it was sterile and came no where near the warm and welcoming vibe of the original location. Then we were greeted by our server whom had clearly been hired for her looks and not her ability to serve. She was awful. Rude, slow, disinterested and when my buddies tried to have a little fun with her, we got a cold glare.
Now on to the most disappointing part of the experience. The food. Remember, I used to LOVE St Louis wings - unfortunately they no longer serve those anymore. In their place they now offer these dried up little chunks on a bone. Remember the scene in National Lampoons Christmas Vacation where the family was politely trying to eat the dry turkey? That was us. Horrible.
The worst part - I paid with my debit card and even with horrible service, I'm not one to withhold some form of tip. When I entered the tip amount, I guess I made a mistake and rather than giving 15% I gave $1.50. Before I could explain my typo - the young lady gave me a dirty look, reached into the till and handed me my 1.50 back saying "keep it". Which I happily did.
Never going back. -

Just OK - not the best. Where are the juiciest, tastiest wings in Whitby? You got to follow the chefs. Where they go - their wings go.
IT used to be the TAP, then Jay moved across the street. Where do you like the WINGS in WHITBY ?
