Spruce Meadows is Calgary's first-class, world-famous equestrian facility that is defined by the sheer beauty of their grounds, the high quality of their facilities and staff, and by the sheer number of international competitions they hold every year.
I'm not a huge horse fan, and that's why they get three stars instead of more. But my family is, and I've been there on dozens of occasions to watch and to help family members take part in their events.
Every time I've been, the guests all have one thing in common: a huge smile on their face. As I said, I'm not into the whole equestrian thing...but for those who are, there isn't a better organization in all of Western Canada than Spruce Meadows. And boy, these people respect their animals by providing them with accommodations and care that parallels those their human counterparts receive.
An excellent facility, with excellent staff.
