Review from Andre D.
Edmonton, AB
Denise Gonzalez goes out of her way to please her customers. For instance a while ago, I wanted my suit dry cleaned right away because I had an interview early next week. Because of the holiday, she couldn't get my suit done on time. She called the closest dry cleaners and asked them if they would be able to do it in time. She was willing to even drive over my suit there because I didn't have a car. That is what great service is all about.

Review from Marie F.
Maybe these guys should consider removing alterations from their list of services or maybe they just need to train their staff a little better.
After the garbage service I received at Best for Brides, I decided to take my dress over to Spotless cleaners for a minor alteration. The only thing that needed to be fixed was the strap which is currently about 1.3 inches too long.
I went in and was greeted by Sarah, a super nice and perky lady. I knew something was up when I asked for the fitting room and she said:
"did you need to try the dress on?"
Um... yes Sarah, when doing alterations on a dress or most things for that matter, you typically try them on (thus why you have a fitting room).
Speaking of fitting room, this one had no light. Sarah explained that it seemed the pot-light had burned out and no one was able to change it (how many Spotless Cleaners does it take to screw in a light bulb?! Apparently more than two!)
I put on the dress and she and her fellow worker spent 15 minute -pinning my shoulder. She kept saying things like:
- I don't want to prick you...
- Should I be using pins or safety-pins
- What kind of material is this (probably the most alarming question of all because for someone who works with clothing all day and most know textile composition in order to dry-clean them, I would hope you would know what raw silk looks like, much less feels like!)
- I don't want to prick myself and get blood all over your dress...
After that I decided that my second dress that actually needed more complicated reworking would be a bit too much for them if they were barely able to figure out how to pin a shoulder strap.
Again both ladies were painfully sweet and personable and if weren't for their great bubbly personality this place would have received a 1.
We'll see how the finished product looks (fingers crossed) but I have officially learnt my lesson and will most likely not be doing more alterations here.
