Stumbled upon Splitz and was pleasantly surprised.  The owner/operators are very friendly, and they make a great burger.  Good solid deal, decent price, and yes, real fries and real beef!  Definitely go give them a visit for some yumtastic burgers.

Not sure what to make of it.  The burger and the restaurant itself.

Came here in the evening.  The place looked like it had a lot of lighting, but it was still dimly lit and dark.  Maybe it was the black ceiling???

    The good:
    -  burger patty was nice, thick, juicy and freshly cooked for you
    -  condiments were fresh and tasty

    The bad:
    -  the bun sucked big time.  Even though it was toasted, it was cold and chewy.
    -  fries were a let down.  The texture was similar to White Spot fries, not crispy, not a fan of it.
    -  cheese was shredded onto the bun and not melted onto the patty, WTF does that?
    -  tables and booths were were not well cleared and cleaned.  I had to re-clean.

Overall experience was not so good.  I remember the Whistler location being better.

For the same money, I would go to 5 Guys instead.  In fact, it was roughly the same price!!

It will be a while before I come here again.

I evidently do not understand the components that work together to make a great burger.

Splitz operates kind of like a sandwich bar, where at the cashier you pick your meat choice and a few extras with an added cost like cheese, then move down a cafeteria-like line picking out all of the condiments and vegetables that you would like on your burger. Splitz offers a wide array of burger toppings that you certainly don't see everywhere like hummus, baba ghanoush, tzatziki, salsa, sprouts and cucumber to mention but a few.

In my excitement, I chose toppings that I had never had on a burger before. I now know why they have never been on a burger before, they don't belong there. If I had wanted something that tasted like a shawarma or a sub sandwich I would have gone to that kind of place for dinner. I also found the burger pattie well cooked but over- seasoned with pepper.

If I am going to pay $15 per person for a burger, a soda, some yam fries + tip, i don't want my burger to be an experiment,I want the burger joint to have already figured out what components work really well together to make a variety of delicious gourmet burgers. I need " Burgers for Dummies" which Splitz clearly isn't.

I was t impressed at all. The burger tasted run of the mill. Who makes a burger without melting the cheese??  The fries were mostly little tiny chunks. They Ali use  mustard that I don't really care for, same as DQ.  For the price I won't be back.

From a friend's recommendation, l had high hopes that I would find Vancouver's best burger here.  The bison burger was tasty, but not out of this world. My friend had the Splitz burger which was also ok but overall a bit dry.

The onion rings were well cooked. Lots of people were having ice cream so I will have to come back for one more burger and an ice cream float before passing final judgement.

This place is perfection! I love the burgers, the choices of sauces and the fries are great! I did try the hot dog here once, trust me it is not worth the 8 dollars ;) I like the low key serve yourself style, but I deducted a star as the staff here are miserable at best every time I visit! I will keep coming back for the food though....

When I crave a delicious hamburger this is where I head. I've heard good things about their lentil burger, and lamb burger, but I can seem to try anything but the legendary splits burger (beef); it's just that good! Your burger is made fresh to order and then you top it off with your choice of fresh veg and tasty sauces and voila! The burgers get a 5 but the font end service sometimes makes you feel like you're at a fast food restaurant south of the border!

There's little I love more than a fantastic burger.  After numerous recommendations from @CraigJHunt and his ravings about Splitz Grill in Whistler, Laura and I had to check out the location on Main street and see if it really lives up to the ridiculously high bar he's set.

Splitz Grill serves "not quite fast food".  You order your burger and sides almost cafeteria / subway style.  Splitz is the king of customization - there's a huge assortment of different patties and toppings.  You can make almost any customization your palette desires.  Me - the standard burger, with jack cheese, banana peppers and mustard. Of course, they also tempted us by smothering our fries with cheese and gravy.

Splitz is a huge step up from crap food (McD's and the like) and a nice step ahead of Vera's, Fat Burger and the other not quite fast-food joints.  The burger was well charred and juicy, but I wish they'd melted the generous handful of cheese onto the patty.  The fries were great, but the gravy wasn't hot enough to melt the cheddar cheese.  Everything was good, but not quite great.

Laura and I agreed - definitely a good burger, but not quite our favorite (currently Moderne Burger).  When I'm in that area and looking for a burger, I'll definitely go back (I wish MB was closer!).

    Bison me up Scotty.

Skipped lunch so was famished. Went with the Yelp consensus and ordered up their Free-Range Bison burger with fries and drink ($11). Kind of dumb that cheese is $1.25 extra. Every burger needs cheese!

Fries appear hand-cut and were pretty crisp although half of the basket was little niblets in size. Kind of like eating the potato chip crumbs. They taste good and you'll eat every last bit, but I want the long ones.

In the Subway-like topping area I went for the Splitz sauce, and my usual veggie choices adding alfalfa sprouts as well for texture. Cheddar for cheese.

Taking first bite, the bun was toasted just right. I've always been a fan of Bison meat. Their patties were juicy and packed with flavour. Splitz sauce matched well.

Milkshakes looked Denny's-good but passed this round.

-100 parenting points to the parents of extremely loud and annoying kids that wouldn't shut up. Let me eat my Bison meat fest in peace.

I was stoked for a new hamburger place to try.

i was not stoked on spending $16.

Although the burger was pretty good, and their Splitz sauce is garlic-y and really tasty, I had a horribly horrendous stomach ache like 10 minutes after I left the place.  Not from being full (though portions are huge), but from how the food made me feel.

    Wah!

I had the Lamb burger - with babaganoush and splitz sauce, cheddar (don't forget to ask for that when you're paying), lettuce, tomatoes, onions and sprouts (yes, sprouts).

It was so good that I'm still thinking about it.

The fries, though not spectacular, were good, but who cares? The burger was AWESOME.

Craving burgers we decided to check out this place, we were especially excited given the excellent reviews.  Could a cafeteria style burger joint be really that good?  Well for us it was good and bad.  Will likely be back at some point but definitely no rush.

The burger - went for the standard burger with cheese (would probably try bison or lamb next time).  You pick your toppings, but was overwhelmed a bit by all the choices, maybe a recommendation on what tastes good together would be useful, so you don't have to say yes/no to a ton of different toppings/sauces.  Still the ones I picked made for a delicious burger.  The delicious burger alone got this place to three stars for me.

The fries - huge disappointment, freshly made yet not crisp and ours 1/3 full of tiny little bits of shriveled deep fried burnt potato bits.

Onion rings - decent, have had better,  I really like when places use bigger pieces of onions, so more onion less batter.  But splitz onion rings were tasty, just smaller onion pieces thani would like.

The price - too expensive!  If I'm paying $17 for my combo, I want something more than just cheese.  They had more expensive burgers and extra options like another patty or two, mushrooms and bacon, we got none of these yet (only cheese and a bottle of beer) we somehow ended up at $17, and with no table service.

I really wanted to like this place!
Maybe I shouldn't have gone with the "special" which was an ahi tuna burger with wasabi mayo.

MAYBE I shouldn't have assumed it was a 'seared' ahi tuna burger?
the ahi tuna looked so unpleasant to eat. it was grey, flat and in the exact shape of a square. it was about 1 cm tall and... very grey.

Maybe I should've just gotten a regular burger, but then I tried someone elses burger and there was a smell to it.
A gross smell.. and he said that it was the type of pickle. Don't get me wrong, i LOVE pickles... but this pickle smelled like... sweaty armpits.

I really enjoyed their onion rings.. way better than their fries and the cookies n cream milkshake was yummy.

MAYBE I need to give this place another shot but with another burger. no pickle please.

This place makes a really decent burger. A big, fat, ugly (oh so ugly), spilling onto your lap, tasty burger.

It's good for people who like to put items on their burgers that don't fall under the "typical" mayo - ketchup - pickle - lettuce - tomato - category.

It made me feel like death after I was finished though. Not sure if it was the super high fat content (maybe I should have passed on the extra bacon & mayo) or the overdose of gluten in the abnormally large bun.

I'd still go back though.  It was mighty tasty in the moment!

Kudos to them on the amount of seating too! Lots of benches and booths to squeeze plenty of burger eating friends into.

The staff was helpful to get through our order of 2 combos+ 2 supersized combos and a good mix of fries, fried onions and yum fries. Making the burger by choosing your ingredients on the spot is a nice gimmick but unfortunately I would have preferred the staff to give more suggestions than expecting me to know what goes in a great burger.

    What went bad:
    - the bun broke in pieces after just 1 or 2 bites. It tasted good though.
    - the toppings were cold (their just put them on the bun and the only warm part was the patty, which didn't melt the cheese) and liquid (dripping from the buns and making them mushy). The taste of the toppings was good.
    - the meat was good
    - the fries were really not great, made from fresh potatoes but not crispy at all.
-The onion rings where the worst, unflavourful and not crispy enough.
    - The drinks are , meh, fountain drinks but they ask for 50 cents for a refill. Small detail they don't have plastic cups for large drinks so even eating in you waste a disposable cup.

    Now the details:
    - the napkin dispenser is not as good as other places where you can easily grab one when your hands are full of sauce.
    - the side of humus we had was almost dry, it needs more olive oil!

The Ugly: we paid 58 bucks for 4 before tip, that's a full 10 bucks more than similar places with excellent burgers.

I recognize myself as a nit picker when it comes to burgers because I've been accustomed to big, juicy, flavorful burgers that would feed a hungry wolf, and when paying the premium of going to a nice burger place and paying 5 bucks for a side of onion rings you expect them to be an experience and not a side that you throw away because it's subpar.

I have been a very long time fan of Vera's burgers, especially the Davie location and have episodically been looking for a possible competitor. Splitz is no such thing - it's not awful at all, but it's just worse in every aspect.

Finally one of the upscale burger places that actually delivers a decent burger!  Since it was my first visit I stuck to the basic beef burger to make a fair comparison.  But on future visits I'm definitely going to be exploring their lamb, bison, sausage, lentil and other options.  They have a wide variety.

The beef burger was not one of those shriveled up thin patties many of the other places serve.  It had enough thickness so that I could differentiate between the char and the meat.  The meat was well seasoned without being overly seasoned.  Thank you!  That wasn't so hard, was it Vancouver?

They offer a VERY large variety of toppings. They have all the traditional ones, and then also offer some more unusual toppings like hummus, babaganoush, sprouts, cucumbers, wasabi mayo, etc.  They will give you any of the toppings on the side as well, so feel free to get your burger traditionally dressed if you like, and then have the playful toppings on the side to see what works for you.  I found the babaganoush added a really pleasant garlicy flavour to the overall profile and really enjoyed that as a topping I wouldn't normally consider for a burger.  The majority of the toppings are included with the exception of a cheese, bacon, mushrooms and grilled onions.  Those are extra.  All of the others are included though.

The fries reminded me of the fries the original Nathan's on Coney Island used to serve.  (I have no idea if the Nathan's chain does that as I haven't been to one in years.)

Service was very friendly and happy to discuss the philosophical differences between each and every topping choice (perhaps a little TOO happy to discuss it??!?!!).

In any case, I will definitely be returning when I get a burger craving!

I went with Chicken.  I know, pretty boring considering Splitz is known for offering a good (regular ground beef) burger, but also lamb, bison, and other varieties.

I was initially confused by the ordering system. Though it's kind of cafeteria style, you pay first.  Then you walk through the line of toppings and tell them what you want.  However, a few of the specialty items cost extra.  I opted for grilled onions (totally worth it, they were delicious)- but when I went through the line I experienced some cheese regret (cheese is extra, and I had not paid for it).  Sigh.  I like shredded cheese, and they do a chedder/swiss mix.

My sandwich was on the basic side- chicken, grilled onions, lettuce, honey mustard.  I think it was a great combo, and I'll probably have it again sometime.

I did not consume a gluttonous milkshake- but they looked good.  They're served in the metal diner cups, so you can refill your glass with more!

Num Num!  Their spicy lentil burger was very tasty and aforementioned SPICY. Had the burger straight-up, but the grilled onions, bacon, mushroom toppings (+ cost) tasted great on my friend's meat burger.

Loved the Spltiz sauce (mayo, garlic, spices etc.) as well as the hummus and fresh veggies.  Everything is made to order for your burger. They actually pan-fried my lentil patty.  I love it when my patty gets a bit of TLC.  This place is also licensed - micro-brewed beers available.  Prices are reasonable $5-9 range for a burger, although their combos meals are super popular. Apparently lineups go out the door on weekends, so plan to arrive early or be prepared to wait!

Likes: fresh ingredients, gourmet sauces, made to order, self-serve style with plenty of seating, licensed

    Dislikes: soggy fries

Don't let all the Yelp reviews talking about the ordering process scare you away.  I had the bison burger and it friggin rocked.  Cooked just the way I like with lots of cheese.

The french fries were awesome, just wish they had vinegar as it would have been perfection but I guess this is an east coast thing.

I will def visit Splitz again when in Vancouver.

So I come here every now and then when I'm in the neighbourhood and looking for a solid burger to break up my usual diet of Pho, Sushi, and All Day Breakfasts! That said, I know my burgers...I cook them on my grill at home all the time, so I know what I like.

Let's get the good out of the way first. The place is nice and roomy, tons of booths, and the menu is big and broad (with non-beef, non-meat options...even non-burger options). It's also not surrounded on all sides by TVs, which I appreciate.

On to the food...I ordered a regular Splitz burger combo (fries and a fountain pop). The ordering system has been well documented, you pick your meal, then pick your veg, and then you get your burger. But a way better system is what Vera's does. Same thing, except they give you a set group of veg to start from so you can tell them you want just the regular fixin's with one word. No luck at Splitz.

Second, the bun is cold on arrival. I don't know if they toast it...there's a big toaster there, but I'm not sure if they used it on mine. And the fries were cold. Like dead cold. As for my toppings, I like pickles on my burger, but these smelled and tasted plasticy...not good.

Now for the burger itself. Flavourful and juicy, but way too much salt...I don't know if that was because of the extra cheese or onions I picked, but still, too much salt. (The onions, by the way, were a bit too slimy, clearly they were just sitting there all day and not made fresh -- oh, and they cost an extra buck).

Now, all that said, the only reason for my disappointment is that the burger costs $13+. If it was cheaper, it would have been fine. But once you cross the $10 mark, I expect more from my burgers. Some char flavour, even seasoning, and hell...I want it to be hot!

One nice touch though is that they don't charge extra for a side of mayo, so they get some karma points for that.

All in all, I'll be back to see if it was just an off day, but not a place I'll be recommending to friends in the mean time...

    Buffalo buffalo....
We scoured the urban landscape of Vancouver hunting for Buffalo. We hit up three places.

Who invented this "CLOSED on Mondays" trend ?

We found ourselves at Splitz, finally an OPEN sign welcoming us cowboys.
Its nice to see that they have finally found some good counter service people yay :-)

Two of the three of us got Buffalo, and reportedly it was good. Unfortunately for me, they do put a wheat/bread crumb filler into the burgers. BUT -- they do have for me is a "Smokey" and it goes down reeeaaal gooood with Fries and Root Beer.

I spent nearly three years in the Pemberton/Whistler area and Splitz in Whistler was a constant favorite choice of mine (partly because compared to the rest of the overpriced cuisine there, Splitz appealed to my budget).  Now that there's one right across the street where I'm spending a month in Vancouver, I had to do the compare/contrast thing.

I've gone in a couple times.  I first should point out that regardless of their main focus, burgers, I still much prefer their lentil burger option for vegetarians.  Their beef burgers are okay, but usually six hours later my stomach likes to remind me of what I put in there.  It just doesn't settle properly.  Their lentil burger, however, is a homemade slab of goodness.

It will be the one thing I continue to visit Splitz for.  Fortunately, this Vancouver location does it right.  However, their fries are a wedge variety here and not quite as appealing as the ones they use in Whistler.  The staff in Vancouver isn't quite as entertaining as the Whistler kids, but maybe I've caught them on off days.

All in all, a decent choice for a burger, but a great choice for a vegetarian burger.

PS: If you're on a date with a new gal or fellow in your life, I must urge you to avoid the splitz sauce at all costs.  It's a very tasty garlic mayo, but the lingering taste will hover in your mouth for hours.  This may put a damper on that good night kiss you're just dying to plant on him/her.

Sprouts on a burger?  You bet!

Hello my name is Will and I am a burger junkie. It has been 5 minutes since my last burger and I am already thinking about the next.

Splitz I almost a good as they come in Vancouver.  The great?  Service with a smile and dedication as you watch your meal made with love and care. The list of toppings is tremendous with wasabi mayo being a must. Not to mention the alfafa sprouts everyone seemed to order. My assembled burger was almost too big to fit in my mouth!

The not so great?  Maybe it was this first visit but I found the meat to be overseasoned and just a tad on the salty side. Not offensively so but enough to keep this joint from pulling a 5 star rating.

I'll be back and next time  bringing the kids to share a banana split.

I'd have to say this one is up for the best burger in Vancouver. First, they have quality meat and the patty was cooked with just enough char on the outside to give it that bbq-reminiscent yumminess.

The next fantastic thing about Splitz is that there's a massive board of toppings that you can select to load up your burger with. Splitz sauce is a must (addictive garlic mayo). But there's also baba ganoush or your basics like mustard, ketchup, relish and regular mayo. Then you can choose your veggie toppings: lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, pickle, red onion, alfalfa sprouts, sourcrout ... I'm sure I'm forgetting half the things because there was so much selection!

The cook was really friendly and seemed really into his job, which is a special thing at a burger joint. They sell beer and wine, which is also a plus. The only reason I didn't go the full 5-stars is that the fries didn't do it for me and they were playing JackFM, including commercials. I was kinda expecting a funky burger joint in a neighbourhood like Main to have some better tunes!

That's a pretty decent burger. I think my local pub recently tried to clone it to a pretty fair approximation. It's good enough to emulate, but not the best hamburger I've ever consumed. The meat was flavourful and I could tell that the guy at the grill knew what he was doing. Most of the condiments are not my style (hummus and baba ganoush, while delicious, are too exotic for the humble hamburger) and who ever heard of putting banana peppers on a burger? I did try the garlic mayo, or Splitz sauce, and it added a pleasant kick.

The service is great, but the ordering procedure seems unusual to the uninitiated. It makes sense for crowd control if they're busy, but it wasn't immediately obvious to me that I had to order at the register, then proceed to the burger assembly area to relay my instructions.

I'm not a huge fan of the fries. Steak fries without much flavour. I'll skip them next time.

Personally I think these guys make a far better burger than Vera's or Fatburger but then again I usually order the basic burger 'combo' when I go there. The combo is roughly the same price of ordering just a burger at Fatburgers and it tastes a lot better.

When you have the yearning for some good old comfort food, Splitz is def. a place to go. Burgers are yummy and I just LOVE the fact you get to choose what is on your burger - none of this pickle nonsense!
I had the special - Turkey and Cranberry - very nice and moist.
Fries were a bit hit and miss last night, a few over done bits, but not enough to bother me really.

Yup, this is "my" burger joint - decent portions and lots of interesting toppings (humus, sprouts, good stuff) and you don't feel like you are about to have a heart-attack after you eat it. The bison burger is niiiiice, so is the veggie and turkey burgers - the holy trinity of a good burger joint (beef, veg, chicken).

The buns- too large and hard
Cheese - on the buns, not grill with the meat (as shown on the pictures) , just not the same!

Overall, the buns are toasted, but by the time I got the burger, the buns were already cold. The buns were too big and hard, did not go well with the beef patty (that could have been good just couldn't taste it). The burger was eatable but I had much better. With that price, I would rather go Danny's or White spot. Really too bad, we don't have an "in-and-out burger", that is the best!

Decent cafeteria style burger joint on Main street.

For around $10 you can get a combo of burger, fries and a drink.    This place only really does burgers, fries, salads and onion rings.

The burger was pretty good.   It wasn't quite 100% though however for Vancouver it's up there.     Wasn't too happy with the grated cheese for the cheese selection,  it gives a different texture to the burger that isn't as nice in my opinion.

Still, you could do a lot worse in Vancouver (Moderne Burger, ugh!).

In my quest for the best burger in town, I finally made my way to Splitz Grill on Main Street. Large location with a similar feel to Vera's Burgers but thankfully a much tastier sandwich. Yes, something does beat Vera's meat - actually many. The first bite was very satisfying, but by the end, I found it a little salty. The fries were good. I still prefer Modern Burger, although I feel like there has to be a better burger out there. Laugh as you may, so far, Fatburger ranks right up there in this town. I know, that's not saying much!

Rustic good times! I love the lentil wrap at Splitz Grill. Cheap, the toppings are fresh, plentiful, healthy and delicious.  Come here for casual, cheap healthy-ish eats! I got hooked on this place from it's flagship hub in Whistler, and am happy that it's moved out here (minus the fact that there aren't cute boys spoiling me with free extra toppings).

Gourmet burgers made the way I like it.  That's how eating a burger should be nowadays.  So if you are aiming for something tasty and filling look no further than Splitz Burger.  I found the ordering instructions were quite useful and efficient when it comes to making your burger to order.  Toppings of your choice included dressings like the usual ketchup, mayo, mustard, relish, etc, to the unique like their splitz sauce which kind of reminded me somewhat of a tzatziki sauce flavor.  I had the splitz sauce and Dijon mustard followed by lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and cheese (extra for cheese).  The burger patty was 1/3 pound so it was more than enough for a regular person.  I found that I had trouble finishing the fries off and usually fries helps keep you full after a burger.  Not here.  You get full off the burger.  My wife had the bison burger with the same fixings however, she mentioned the bison burger was a bit salty.  Overall, our hunger was fulfilled.

This place is a must visit for those who enjoy their burgers - Gourmet style.
Well its Gourmet and customisable at the same time !

Big Kudos to them for having a good Vegetarian option.
I strolled around and wasnt expecting much vege option in this abode for beefyvores. But they had a veggie sandwich as well as a Spicy lentill vege burger !
Some places just put a generic vege soya or musroom patty burger but the lentill burger was custom house made and yummy.
the size of the burgers are huge
Its Gourmet and customisable as its subway style of preparation.
You order, pay money as 1st step then move to the prep area where the staff helps you in a friendly manner and gives suggestions as well
with the sauces and then the veges
then you seat yourself and wait for them to call you once your patty has cooked.
There is extra charge for mushrooms, onions, cheese from what you see on the menu.
My Veggie lentill burger with mushrooms, onions and cheese came out to 9$.
The sauces are and interesting blend. from the sauces you would expect in subway to the exotics like homous, baba ganoush, salsa etc
There is even sprouts as an optional add on
I would recommend this place to the veggie lovers as well as the carnivors out there.

The burgers are pretty decent and there's a fair selection of burger choices, but for a burger joint its pretty damn expensive.  Order a combo with fries and a drink and you're gonna spend close to $20.  Sorry, but you could go to an actual restaurant that serves a "gourmet" burger and pay less for your meal.  The ordering system is a bit complicated too.    The woman who I think is the owner, is condescending to staff and sometimes rude customers.  Won't last long if you don't treat your staff and customers better.

Burgers are big and juicy. I like the toppings, especially the wasabi mayo and grilled onions. Fries are so-so, but the onion rings are good. Splitz is decent, really better than decent.  In fact we could use a few more good burger joints like this in Vancouver.

I know everyone likes to say good things about this place but we tried it one day and didn't care much for it. We thought it was too greasy and expensive for what you get. I like making a trip out to Main Street but will not eat here again.

I was confused when I wandered in with my friends, do we seat ourselves? Will someone bring us a menu? But after wandering in further, I saw that there was a giant sign with ordering instructions, yes, there is a step by step menu to help you, too bad its at the back of the restaurant.

I should have known that any place with "grill" in its name usually doesn't have a huge vegetarian section, but one of the peeps I was with insisted this place was good. I had two options that were not salads; the lentil burger, and the veggie sandwich. The BF ordered the lentil burger, so I went for the veggie sammy, and we both got shakes, his was strawberry and mine was cookies n cream. My shake ruled, but it gave me a bellyache, cuz I usually don't have that much dairy all in one sitting. The "sandwich" was disappointing, it was basically a burger without the patty. So I got exactly what The BF got, but no lentil patty.  Just as a heads up to Splitz Grill, a sandwich is made with bread, not a hamburger bun. FYI. Thanks. You should probably take the "veggie sandwich" off the menu and just run with the lentil burger, since it was actually pretty good, I ended up eating half of the BF's burger and leaving mine because it was so bland. The burgers that had patties were big though, you needed a snake-jaw to bite into them, so you could fit your whole mouth around them.

The service was average, the place was moderately clean, and the bathrooms worked, but nothing really wowed me, well, except for the shake. They also serve banana splits here, which would be pretty cool for a date, I don't know about you, but I've always wanted to share a banana split on a hot date. Extra chocolate sauce please! If I go back, this is probably what it will be for, cuz the fries didn't look too appealing to me either, but I am not a potato-wedge-lover.

My boyfriend and I were in town yesterday to catch some Olympics action, and we decided that we really didn't feel like eating crap food in the curling arena so we were directed by an Olympics guide over to Main Street. Because we didn't have a whole lot of time, we decided to check out this burger place.

When we got in, the menu looked awesome. I knew immediately that I was going to get the spicy lentil burger (especially, since, as a pescatarian, there was only a couple of options for me to eat), and my boyfriend soon decided on the bison burger. We went down the line, and I was happy to see that I could actually pick what I wanted to go on mine. I'm sort of picky, so it was nice to not have to ask what was on the burger or request that a bunch of things not end up on it. I got mayo, sprouts, and tomatoes - and it was fantastic!

If I'm in the area next time I'm back in Vancouver, I think this is somewhere I would definitely hit up again.
