It's easy to walk right past this little shop on Broadway, but you'll be rewarded with great service if you go in. I often drop in sans appointment to have my eyebrows waxed (I don't have patience for plucking, but I like to have nice brows). The lady who does my brows is always really gentle (I think her name is Trang).
On my first visit she carefully explained her procedures to make me feel comfortable about her supplies and techniques. Every time since she greets me with a big smile and doesn't make me feel guilty if I've waited too long since my last visit.
I also have had my hair cut there a couple times by Tracy and have been happy with the result. I got great service and a relaxing massage when she was washing my hair. Oh ya, and it costs about $45 for a wash, cut and style.
They often have specials on for package deals, since they do everything here from nails to skin to makeup to hair. -

After being long overdue for a haircut and not getting a chance to book a proper appointment with my usual stylist, I walked in for a trim - thinking it'd be hard to mess up a regular trim on my long, straight hair.
Everyone was very nice - but my bangs were visibly uneven... and the woman cutting my hair kept insisting they were fine, but offered to keep cutting it to even it out. Rather than have her keep cutting shorter and shorter, I was obviously frustrated & upset. The owner (?) at reception who had been part of the whole discussion didn't offer a solution - and just accepted payment.
Once home, I see that the rest of my hair is also completely uneven! I was too bothered by my bangs to even realize this when I was there. Ugh. This was pretty darn awesome for a $15 eyebrow wax. The lady was gentle andmy brows look great. I'm very happy with my service and the price can't be beat in Vancouver, as far as I'm concerned.

I purchased a voucher for a keratin treatment that is supposed to relax hair and eliminate frizz for up to 3 months. After my treatment my hair looked and felt great, but I wasn't sure if it was because they spent time blow drying and flat ironing.
When I got home and followed all of their after care instructions and bought the coordinating shampoo and conditioner I found it leaving my hair exactly the same as BEFORE I got the treatment!
This treatment cost me $99 and is supposed to regularly cost $350! Not worth it at all! I can only conclude that the treatment wasn't done correctly because I have heard from others who have had the same treatment done and their results were very very different! Plus I have had other types of treatments done where the results were fabulous.
The two ladies that were there were very pleasant and the service is good, just not worth the money for the treatment.
