Friendly service. Affordable pricing ($50/day for ski, boots, and poles), but what makes them different is definitely their service. After about 2 hours I ended up tweaking my knee. So I decided to call it a day and returned the equipment to Spicy Sports. I asked for a partial refund since I returned so soon, and they gave me $20 back. They could've totally screwed me over and just charged me for half day rental which is $40, but the guy was really nice and hooked me up! Maybe it's just a Canadian thing, but I could easily see other stores not really hooking you up like this. Defintely going back.
Also, if you walk around Whistler Village. There's this one ski store that will give you a 10% off coupon for rentals saving you on the sales tax. -

A friend and I rented both skiing and snowboarding gear from here. The staff is very friendly, laid back, and the transaction was as smooth as butter. The prices are quite a bit better than the rentals right next to the base of the mountain. Any time I go back, there is no doubt this is the only place I will rent from.
